Been ignoring the IRS for years. I finally decided to take care of it, and I am glad I did and even more glad I found Defense Tax Partners. Chris is the best tax attorney in the world. I was asked if I recommend Defense Tax Partners and I said yes because how much they helped me. I found them online and hired them but was skeptical. They eased my fears quickly by how fast they jumped on my case. I had about $15,000 owed to the state and another $40,000 to the IRS. They went right to work and got all the collections halted and then focused on getting my tax debt fixed. When the dust settled, I owed less than $1,000 to the state and paid the IRS only $6,500 to remove all of the debt. The professionalism and pure empathy with the people ate Defense Tax Partners is pretty obvious and great to see.

II was in El Careyes for a sabbatical trying to get away from it all. I got an urgent call my mother was not doing well and tried to book a flight back home but could not. I found out my passport was suspended for back taxes, and I was stuck. I was so scared that I could not be there for my mother. My husband had a bank levy placed on our bank account for owing over $40,000 in back taxes. We did not know what to do because our mortgage payment was in that account. When you get a notice that your wages are going to be garnished and you are barely scrapping by, freaking out is a mild way to put how I felt.
