Overall Rating: 3.5 / 5 (Very good)

Seeking Alpha is one of the youngest Personal Finance websites we reviewed, but that does not make it any less than its competitors. Its excellent articles and stock market information, three membership levels, and handy portfolios make the company a fantastic choice for beginner and experienced investors. Seeking Alpha's only drawbacks are a lack of online feedback and no dedicated section for additional financial services.

God help you, if you are relying on a Money Back Guarantee from these THUGS! I took out an annual subscription to 'Conservative Income Portfolio' on Jan. 4th, 2024, which SA offered me with a 30 day Money Back Guarantee. I cancelled the subscription on Jan. 11th, 2024. SA started by telling me that no refund was available for 30 day subscriptions. WHAT? This went on for days as I repeatedly told them that the $705.43 charge was for an annual subscription and was listed as such under Subscriptions on my Profile with them, all to no avail. I then filed 2 disputes with my Credit Card to which SA said they would refund 11/12ths of the money, if I withdrew the disputes. I wouldn't do that.... Read More

I had already paid $250 for the previous year's subscription, but I missed the cancellation date for the coming year by little more than a week. I have been told that Seeking Alpha will give me no refund at all. Other companies have consideration for customers who have paid full price for previous service, but not Seeking Alpha. It makes me think this company is a money grubber, not one that seeks to provide benefits for the cost of service.

The Seeking Alpha app shows inaccurate closing prices and dates for all mutual funds. This has been pointed out to the company on multiple occasions, but the flaw has not been corrected.

It is very simple...very few real investors, mostly doom and gloom "it's all about me" "Johnny one note" self seeking; self produced, and self published, novices. Any chance at getting real mathematics and real help is for naught. An entertainment spot at best. Argue with anyone you like there, albeit do not try to post an article that is short, to the point, or more about bonds than stocks. Peace, LAN
