Do not use! Use at your own risk. A very dishonest and unprofessional company that will extort money out of you when they can. They hire non-professional third party folks in unmarked box trucks that arrive half a day late and are inexperienced with moving. No effort to protect floors or number or identify boxes.
This is a big rip off company. They will “sell” you a moving package without having anyone come to your house to itemize what you are moving. After the actual “movers” get there to load, the price goes up significantly. In my case it was $14K to $22K. Once you are onto this scam, Odyssey will not return your calls. Then you are at the mercy of the movers because Odyssey already has your money. DON’T DO IT!
Do not contract with the thieves at odyssey. They will charge you a minimum overcharge of $1K or more over the price of the actual move. They will tell you the funds are going to the moving company, but they actually are paying themselves first. Totally unscrupulous company. Steve Peterson
I am making a review because this is one of the worst companies that you can deal with please do not use this company for a moving of any sort. We were moving from Arizona to mississippi. November the 30th 2023. We were told that the items would make it to Mississippi on December 2nd it is still in route as of now. Everyone that we have spoke with have had an attitude not only that when they came to pick up the items they charged us an additional $400 stating that the couch had 4 cushions instead of three. Enrolled us in an agreement 25 days before selected move date. We've paid all of the agreed costs and extra. Then they bailed the day before the movers were supposed to arrive. The movers changed the dates twice and only called hours before they renegotiated the date- both times. This cost us money. No follow up/no follow through from Odyssey. We had already scheduled our flights and were not available on the day of the (new) move so we had to hire a friend to wait around both days. When the movers finally arrived they claimed that our items were double the estimated size. Since they came late we were already gone and could not verify. Absolutely terrible moving company, do not hire them. Didn't actually move everything requested and then jacked up prices the day of the move. Absolutely unprofessional.

Needless to say moving is stressful and I would definitely say dealing with Odyssey was one of the easiest moves I have had to date. Easy booking process and they are very responsive throughout the move.
Terrible customer service. Was rude, in a rush, and hung up on me in the middle of the price quote. The experience with the estimate employee alone is enough for me to find a different company.
