I considered other mortgage companies and did plenty of research and read many reviews. We decided to go with Veterans United because they specialize specifically in loans for Veterans. Many companies who offer home loans to veterans may not be fully knowledgeable and familiar with all the paperwork, etc. I didn't want to waste time. Also, the low rate and no down payment was a selling point for us.

I had done some shopping around for mortgages and ultimately choose Veterans United because of the friendliness, speed of service, and good rates. It was one of the best choices I made during the buying process. As a first time buyer I had minimal knowledge about the home buying process and was dreading it. My Veterans United loan officer and their suggested realtor made buying my first home an approachable and pleasant experience. Thanks VU!
