There are eleven totally types of MediGap plans, but the vast majority of people are best served by one of the following three. MedicarePlan.com can help you discover which plan fits best for you.

Plan N covers hospital copayments, Part B co-insurance except $20 for office visits & $50 for emergency visits, first 3 pints of blood, hospital deductible, SNF, foreign care, all of Part B co-insurance for preventive care, and hospice care.

Plan F covers 100% of the hospital and doctor expenses that Original Medicare Parts A & B don’t cover, with no copays, deductibles, or coinsurance costs.

Plan G is kind of like a less expensive version of Plan F. It covers all of the same costs as Plan F, except for the Part B's annual deductible of $185 per year.
