Airweave is a mattress company founded by Stanford graduate Motokuni Takaoka that employs proprietary Airfiber technology inspired by fishing line. The company began producing mattress toppers made from the material in 2007 and has since branched out into mattresses. Airweave is made of a recyclable material and works hard to see that its unwanted mattresses are donated or recycled so they don't end up in landfills. Few other mattress companies take these eco-friendly measures, so it's a good fit for environmentally conscious buyers.
