If you pass away, they will help your family through the process of claiming your death benefit, and they say most claims are paid within 10 days. Ethos only offers term policies. Their term life insurance policy options are more or less standard for the industry. Ethos offers products to people between the ages of 18 and 75, with term length options from 10 to 30 years. The death benefit range, however, is extremely wide. Ethos policies can be anywhere from $25,000 to $10 million, giving prospective customers maximum flexibility in determining their coverage amount Their premiums are guaranteed throughout the life of the policy, which means you won't be surprised by a premium increase after you sign up.

Ethos offers a solid list of traditional and non traditional life insurance policy riders. The Critical Illness rider pays out a lump sum if you are diagnosed with invasive cancer or carcinoma. Ethos also offers an Endowment Benefit rider, which returns a portion of your premiums after a certain time, and a Waiver of Premium rider, which means you are not obligated to pay premiums if you become totally disabled.
