Poor lawn care services. People involved are not commited or responsible for the service they provide.
Please dont enrol on their services and waste money.
My lawn is in such bad shape now.
We have been using Massey for the past several years and have been very happy with all the services they provide for us. (We also use their mosquito control services) Their representatives are always professional and friendly. Any time we have had a problem in between service times they always come very quickly and always take care of the problem. they offer the best pest control we have ever had.
I live in the Villages and pay to have Massey cut my lawn every Friday. Despite paying my bills the lawn does not get cut. In April my lawn was cut twice. In May, despite repeated phone calls, my lawn has only been cut once. Once in the first 27 days. Seriously? I receive promises and assurances and my grass keeps growing. Is this the service Massey gives? I would be ashamed.
Massey Services came to my home to provide only half services for lawn contract. My plan included my whole yard. New Service tech (not the same service tech from the beginning of my contract, which know the gate stays unlocked) ONLY sprayed my front yard. Contacted the company soon as a watched the cameras. I made them aware of what the issue was. They send a service tech out a few weeks later, which done the same thing, ONLY servicing my front lawn and not my back. If I'm paying full price I expect full service. If I'm only getting have service, I made them aware I will pay half price. I canceled my contract due to not getting the service I signed up for. I could write almost the exact same comment as Melissa.Ivin did on
1/12/2021. Although I called to cancel my 8-2020 to 8-2021 contract months in advance (I moved in 12-2020), they are stating they never received a cancellation. They are now adding that it has to be in writing, even though my contract had ended before their supposed work was done in 10/2021. What a scam!!
I had Massey for 4 years and had no major issues. However, I sold my home and called them to let them know I didn't want to continue with their services because I no longer would be at the house. Unfortunately, they "can't find a record of my call to cancel" and continued to charge me for my services at a house I no longer own. They are now threatening to take me to a collection agency to pay for a service I cancelled. I have now called multiple times to try and handle this reasonably, and I will not respect a business that treats customers this way. These people are scammers and have horrendous customer service. Avoid at all costs!
I called customer service and spoke with Tosh about using Massey Lawn Care Services when I move there. I couldn’t have been more pleased with regard to her courteous demeanor, her patience as well as her overall product knowledge. All customer service should emulate the 5-Star service I received. I am truly grateful and look forward to utilizing the many lawn services that this company offers. A buddy who also lives in Florida has used their service now for the past 2 years and could not be any happier.
I have no idea how they got 4 stars on here, but they are worth not even free!!!! I hired them along with pest, and termite services and truly an absolute joke. To keep it brief, after 6 months of fighting with them to get done what they said they would do they finally refunded my money last year and said rest assured we will correct our problem we created. My grass looks horrible, I mean so horrible I have had other lawn services come and give me a quote at my door as they noticed how beautiful my plants are and asked, "what is the deal with your grass?" If I could give lower than 1 star I would. They over promise and under deliver. The salesman promised that the tech would be out to put the first lawn application on within 5 days. It never happened. We gave them an additional 3 business days and it still never happened. In the mean time they had taken the automatic payment out of my checking account. The lack of follow through on their commitments led me to cancel the service immediately. That was almost a month ago with now 5 follow up phone calls to get my money returned. My wife and I keep getting told "it wasn't me" and "I'll have someone call you back." I don't care who does it and I don't want to talk to anyone with the Massey... Read More
Poor lawn and client service as well. I must have the best and healthiest weeds in all of Florida and I paid them for it. I have been calling since October 2019 to talk to a manager and get our problem sorted out but no one has reached out. A field person came in October and begged for a 2 month opportunity to fix the problem, to which we agreed, but they never came back at all. Been calling them since to no avail at all. Today, 4 months after, I had to call again and not sure the manager is calling back. I guess Mr and Mrs. Massey are just too busy enjoying life. Very very poor service all around. Rating is 0.
