The most ineffective tree treatment we have ever experienced. The company is more interested in making money rather than true customer care and doing the right things for the customer. They went as far as treating some obviously dead trees, shamefully, because our service agreement with them was not terminated "in writing". A phone call alone to the office would not do, apparently.
Very dissatisfied customer.

This place is the worst . I contacted them to do a job. The person from Davey came out, told me specifically what the would be doing and how they would be doing it . I received a quote. The crew came out and said they didn't have the right equipment for the job with them , but said they would be able to do it with other equipment at a later date. I contacted the rep again. He explained again in detail the equipment needed and assured me the job WOULD get done, and set a tentative date for the work to be done. In reply to me after paying $ 474.10 for tree service that was quoted at $440.00. I was contacted and told they would make it right, they sent me a credit for $31.16.
IHAVE NO USE FOR A CREDIT Will never use this company again and will let others know also.
Was quoted a price of $440.00 to have tree removed, but when I received the invoice it was for $474.10 total with tax. Nothing had been said to me that there would be tax added to the quote. As a senior and veteran living on a fixed income this was not appreciated.
Very Disappointing Service and Customer Relations! Removal of Tree Stump and trees. Poor clean-up of area and they asked me if they could plant the tree in the middle of the summer heat. Their own website states that trees should be planted in the fall!
I've heard good things about Davey and we wanted our Bradford Pear sprayed for a fungus. Got a good price and signed up in March 2022. We were supposed to have two applications. One in the spring and one in the summer. No one ever showed up. Tried numerous times to reach the guys over there. Finally got a response that they had come out. No one knocked or rang the door bell and never saw an invoice or evidence that anyone came by. June comes and goes and nothing on the so called second application. Emailed and 7 weeks later still haven't heard back from anyone.
Might be a good company and just having staffing issues. No idea what is going on over there.
I just had a representative come out to our home in Ancaster to have a look at our 7 cedars as ever since we had the deep root fertilization done about three weeks ago, all of the cedars are starting to die. We planted the cedars about 4 1/2 years ago and they have always looked very healthy. The response we got from Davey tree service was that our cedars must have been poor stock as in their opinion the fertilizer could not have been the issue. I would be very leery on having the deep root fertilizer done if you have any poor stock planted around the area of fertilization. My property was entered by this Davey tree servicec who I did not authorize. I have a powerline that runs along the fence line. My gate has a wedge to prevent it from being opened. They reached over opened my gate drove onto my property cut the trees around the power line left whatever did not make it in the chipper on the ground. Now I have a mess that they created to clean up. I have all the video footage. Our tax payer dollars at work. Very disappointing.
To whom it may concern: We write to provide feedback on a recent transaction involving trimming our arborvitae hedge. When Davey trimmed this hedge earlier in the year, we thought the hedge should have been trimmed to a lower height previously discussed w/Joe Oszust's staff. Subsequently, we brought this to Joe's attention. He and his staff returned to trim it until it was more in line w/our expectations. Joe managed the trimming to ensure that the subsequent growth would be delayed until after Winter, assuring that winterkill would not involve the anticipated re-growth.
