Indeed scores highly with us because of the sheer volume of jobs available, as well as the flexibility it provides in search filtering and notifications. The site does a particularly good job at tailoring its results to the search terms applicants use and offering relevant suggestions and advice when they sign in. Additionally, the Indeed Career Guide gives relevant advice on how to optimize searches, write cover letters and resumes, and how to handle different types of interviews. Indeed is also a great resource for researching career paths, job profiles complete with average salary, and company reviews. All in all, Indeed is an unavoidable player in the job search site market and for good reason.

Indeed has an extremely clear interface and, as a result, is one of the easiest to use job sites out there. Indeed's filters work much like a travel or flight website. Job seekers can sort results in real time using the options of salary estimate, job type, location, company name, and experience level. They can also perform an advanced search, narrowing the results down significantly by relevance by just filling out a few fields. Once potential applicants find the right postings, they can either apply directly on the company site, through Indeed, or save the job for later viewing. Users can also upload their resume, but be aware Indeed will pull information from the document to populate its own fields so the resume information is presented in their template. Job seekers should always verify the information has been input correctly before beginning to apply for jobs.

Although Indeed has an A+ with the BBB, the company does have its share of complaints. These mainly center around billing issues from employers that use the pay service for posting jobs. However, to Indeed's credit, they have responded to the vast majority of complaints with specific avenues of resolution and even account credit. On Trustpilot, Indeed has a 7.5 (Great) score and a majority of positive reviews (75%). It must be noted that, from a customer service standpoint, the vast majority of issues are going to be from employers who are paying for the service. Although job seekers do not have to pay, the company is diligent in resolving issues for them as well.
