Alerts
ID Verification Alerts inform you of certain actions taking place within our network of monitored sites and accounts. Customers receive alerts each time you, or someone posing as you, updates information to your current accounts. Examples include bank passwords or address changes, new credit cards opened, and changes to other credit accounts. They may then confirm the activity is valid. Once you receive such an alert, you're in a position to take extra precautionary measures to protect your accounts.
You'll receive an alert when one of these events occurs:
- Social security number and other sensitive information found on the dark web
- ID verification alerts
- Account takeovers
- Requests to open new bank accounts
- High-risk transactions, including new utility accounts, payday loans, and tax refunds
- 3-bureau credit report changes
- Breaches, phishing scams, and malware vulnerabilities

Identity Guard offers three membership subscription tiers—Value, Total, and Ultra. Each plan is available for individuals and families.
All three tiers come with the product's basic monitoring features, alerts, and IBM® Watson™ AI technology.

Identity Guard's new Ultra plan provides some unique services compared with the competition. If you're looking for the most comprehensive protection, you may want to consider this plan, which offers monitoring of your credit and debit card accounts, 401K accounts, home title, and change-of-address activity. Under the Ultra plan, you'll also receive alerts should a convicted sex offender move to your neighborhood. The plan also provides advanced credit monitoring. Changes in your credit profile and score are often the first signs that something is amiss, but we don't all monitor our credit scores regularly.
