Have been with State Farm for 32years, made 1st homeowner claim ever...one month ago, then received a letter from SF indicating they dropped me my HO policy. No communication from agent or ratitional
State Farm's homeowner's policies are riddled with exclusions, including damage caused by corrosion. Many homes built prior to 1972 contain galvanized pipes, which eventually corrode and cause damage. When this happens, you will be on your own if your homeowners policy is with State Farm!
They take your money fast, But don't like to pay claims. State farm is the biggest scammer of them all. They are going to hell in a hand basket....
State Farm insurance is not as good as the commercials and agents suggest. Even if you pay your insurance every month on time, you can have a different claims two to three years apart and they will find a way to drop you. I wish their was half a star(1/2 star rating). State Farm really stinks!!!!
I have had only State Farm insurance for both my cars and homes for 40 years. I have had a bad two years and my shed fell under the heavy weight of snow and this was my third claim between 1995 and 2015 and they made me increase my deductible to $1000 in order not to loose my insurance. Then I had a power surge 8 months later. I spent over $1500 to have the meter box on my pole replaced and when the electric came back on most of my appliances and my furnace were not working. I called State Farm in case I needed to replace my 4 year old furnace. I ended up loosing all the appliances but the furnace was fixable so I did not submit anything so I didn't loose my insurance.
