Very disappointed with BlueSky. I just went through this company for homeowner’s insurance. I was told the payment would come out of my impound account with my mortgage lender except for $125 that I would have to pay out of pocket. I was under the impression that this was all for the homeowner’s policy. On reviewing the paperwork I was e-mailed, I discovered the $125 was for a “Home and Wellness Travel Plan” policy that was in NO way connected to the homeowner’s policy. The agent *never* uttered one word about this policy to me during our phone call despite the fact that he claims he did. Enrolled my home insurance with ASI through BlueSky many years ago. I moved and had just paid an annual premium 2 months before. I called BlueSky and the agent said it is not their responsibility to get me a prorated refund. They told me to call the insurance company. I let them know that I was a former agent in another state for over 22 years and that it WAs their responsibility to be involved with my claim for reimbursement as they handled the enrollment/application and received compensation (commissions) for it.
