Upon receiving my Eargo 7s [purchased directly] I was, and still am, very impressed with the overall ingenuity of their design. Having previously used, sporadically, a reprogrammed, recycled pair of older Miracle Ear devices, I especially appreciate Eargo’s nearly invisible in-ear design, rechargeability, smartphone interface and user-adjustability. Even before employing the Sound Match feature, I immediately noticed a welcome improvement in both the quality and clarity of my hearing. The Live Support is particularly outstanding; and in all its forms, the help available is extraordinary.

Outstanding products. I started out in 2020 with the Eargo 5's to help with my mild to moderate hearing loss and tinnitus. Significantly improved my hearing and even reduced the tinnitus. I upgraded to the Eargo 7's, which have even more technology, in January 2024 and absolutely love them. The Customer Service Department at Eargo is Fantastic! They have real people that really care. They go out of their way to answer questions, resolve issues or simply help you make adjustments or understand your hearing devices. I am extremely satisfied with my Eargo 7 hearing aids! I find them to be highly effective. It’s a relief to be able to hear people speaking without thinking that they’re mumbling, and outdoors, the sound of birds singing is delightful. I have to say that I am a bit vain. I know that I have been suffering from hearing loss for several years now, but I have been stubborn, I didn’t want to get behind-the-ear hearing aids. I've been wearing the Eargo 7's for about 2 months. I'm 63 and they are my first hearing aids. I had no idea how bad my hearing had gotten. I absolutely love the custom zones. In addition to the normal setting, I have mine set for "Restaurant, TV and Music." I was stunned when I used the 'Music' setting to listen to a very expensive stereo system. I felt the music took me back to what it sounded like in high school. Yeah, they are expensive, but they are worth every penny.
I love my Eargo 7's! I'm amazed that they help me to hear everyone at the table in a noisy restaurant, which is what frustrated me (and my family!) before I wore hearing aids. They are very comfortable, I can happily wear them all day when I need to. Battery lasts best part of a full day before needing a recharge.
I wish it was possible to replace the battery, because as it stands I'm looking at buying a replacement set in about 3 years' time, but all things considered these are a miracle for the price. My family didn't even know I was wearing them at first, they are almost invisible! Also, their pre AND after-sales support is great too. Buy with confidence.

I'm very pleased. I'm actually surprised at how well they work. I expected improved hearing, but the directional aspect of the sounds is the eye-opener. I'm having no issues with charging or length of time they hold a charge. The continued follow-up by the staff and emails is icing on the cake.
I do appreciate being able to hear in Court as an attorney.
The problem I am having however, is that the left ear device in particular clogs up very easily. There may be a solution to keeping it clear. I do clean them every day and have done the deep clean and they work, but the left can become clogged (with wax) at the very tip in less than a day, even though I cleaned it prior and it worked fine in the morning, by late afternoon it may be clogged again. I may just have waxy ears. any suggestions?
As we age so unfortunately so do our parents. My father was having trouble hearing. We even thought he was not processing correctly because of the hearing issue. The grandkids felt he was yelling at them. They often avoided talking to him. His great grandson loved him but ran when he spoke. I could see he was isolating himself. He was not having the same fun conversations with the family. I finally convinced him to go to Best Buy to purchase hearing aids. When he saw how small the device was, he agreed to try them. I have been using it for over a year now, and I'm completely satisfied. The fact that they are nearly invisible, is a huge bonus no clunky over the ear hearing aids for me!

I have been wearing my Eargo 7s for 9 months now and they have been all that I hoped they would be AND MORE. Comfortable, invisible, excellent quality normal hearing and super adjustable by either tapping my ear to switch modes or finer control with the app. In social situations, parties, restaurants, etc.. I am very comfortable hearing others clearly and can participate in conversations I felt I was left out of before hearing was restored with Eargo aids. Also TV volume is not only down by more than 1/2 but I can understand dialogue clearly. As a newcomer to hearing aids, I researched the new OTC varieties. I was interested in an “in the ear device” and wanted one that was “self fitting”. I read about and decided to go with the EARGO 7. These were more expensive than many other OTC devices. But they had what I wanted and they also came with hearing specialists serving as support. I have not been disappointed. I have well not good hearing, but not terrible either. I use the aids when going out to hear conversations in restaurants and other venues, I now can go out to dinner at a dinner with a show venue I can hear my friends. These hearing aids are by far the best ones in terms of sound quality and background noise reduction. I like the different volume levels for different situations. Plus, they are amazingly comfortable. After a bit, I do not even notice them. Worth the investment for me. The small portable case also acts as charging base and it also helps carry and store the pieces safely, but the top comes off too easily and needs a small redesign to provide a latch to ensure... I have more expensive hearing aids that I never wear because I don't like them. I got my Eargo Hearing Aids through my Verizon Store and I love them. The sound is great. I've recommended them to several people. Thank you!
I have had my Eargo hearing aids for 9 months, they are the best I have found by a long shot. I wear them all day, every day and often forget they are there. The sound and adjustability for different environments is easy to use on my iPhone and works exceedingly well. I tried many other brands and types of hearing aids over 15 years. Eargo fits my active lifestyle ( golf, snow skiing , hiking and biking) and the recharging feature really closed the deal for me. They are well worth the price I paid for them, and their service is unmatched.
I purchased the 7 series aids in June 2023. These are my first hearing aids so they took some time to get used to! Especially the background noises which were only in the distance in the past. Now that I have been using them, I really appreciate the clarity and the programs for various situations like watching TV, or in a restaurant. Would buy them again!
I got EARGO hearing aids through the FEHBP about the time of the Pandemic. My old OTE devices interfered with wearing a mask--or vice-versa. They kept flying off when putting on or taking off the mask. EARGO got good reviews, and seemed like a good choice. From December 2020 through October 2023, I went through FIVE sets of the device. They would perform well for a few weeks, then the prompts would no longer work. Tapping on the ear to change programs failed also. I had no idea which program I was using. The last two pair I received were defective because of adhesive failure, causing the wax screen to fall out, and there was a gap big enough to see the electronics in the device. The last... Read More
Problems:
Seating the earpieces in the charger to insure charging.
Lots of extraneous sounds (whistling and exaggerated background sounds).
Adjusting features to optimize hearing.
Couldn’t change pedals despite following instructions.
The performance of the hearing aids is so much better than I expected! The only issue I have is: I have a hard time keeping them in my ear canal, no matter which ear pieces I use. The Large ear pieces with the open petals seem to stay in the best but I have to re-seat them several times a day.
Hello, don’t be misled with Eargo, I am trying to warn people to be careful with Eargo hearing aids. I purchased Eargo hearing aids for almost 3k and when I received them they were not working properly. When I called customer service, they told me to upgrade the hearing aids. Costing me more than $700 from the previous model. The new model they sent me was worse than the previous one. Now, I hardly use them, they are pretty much worthless. A few days ago, one of my hearing aids wasn’t able to charge, I called customer support and they told it will cost $375 for a replacement. Tried contacting the supervisor but never called me back. These are my first hearing aids. It took 2-3 days to get accustomed to having something in my ears, and another week or so before I started going hours at a time without thinking about them.
The experience has been remarkable. I no longer ask people to repeat themselves several times a day. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they work with both landline and cellular phones--no feedback or need to use the speakerphone the way I have seen hearing aid users do in the past.
The scheduled call from Eargo after my first week was very productive. She gave me useful tips on the use and maintenance of the Eargos, information not found in the videos.
After two weeks, I am very happy.
