The San Jose CA firm hired to fix some broken doors and windows from a break in & burglary in my Oakland CA house was monumentally incompetent. They took forever, never even repaired the window that was jimmied to break in until I pointed it out to them as they were leaving, the simple repairs took many (unnecessary) weeks since they were so far away and over-booked, and they removed way too much material from my house to fix a simple door jam. Appalling, considering how long I've had the insurance (since 1984) and how much better they have responded when I lived in San Antonio TX. I'm a longtime customer & 100% disabled vet, and USAA doesn't cover for earthquakes in OK! I just got off the phone with them about damage I've found in our home in the same space where of where I discovered water leakage this AM (6:15 cst) on 4/23/19. It's terrible with how earthquake-prone Oklahoma has become in recent years! I'm looking to switch before our renewal comes up.

I do have earthquake insurance through USAA. I have had it for 5 years now. I live in Alaska and we just had a 7.0 11/30/2018. They have been wonderful. The earthquake destroyed our house and it is fully covered. They have even given us money upfront to help us relocate while we rebuild our home. Thank you USAA. For those who are wondering, yes, USAA does provide service to veterans.

USAA does not cover earthquakes! They're lying. They told me that earthquakes are only covered by state or federal government. It's a pity, because I think they're auto insurance is the best.

Insurance is for military personnel only. What about 100% Disabled Veterans, we receive same benefits as commissary, BX, Mwr Space A Travel
