I am so suspicious of this company. They have changed names and/or merged several times in the past 20 years and their customer service is non existent. The people who answer their phones are working from home and know nothing about the business. I asked where I should send my check since they lost my file, and have changed names so many times, I was no longer sure where to send my bill. I was given THREE different addresses where to send my check, one was in California, one in Arizona and another in Chicago, IL. I still have no clue where my child's cord blood is located. Cord Blood Registry review We stored our child's cord blood with you & trusted you! Our child ended up with an incurable disease. Your company now assists with treating/curing this particular disease and we have been begging, calling, emailing in every possible way to get connected with obtaining our own child's stored cord blood and connecting with the medical facility to treat her and CBR has COMPLETELY FAILED US! No replies, or a promise made and zero response (this is chronic). We have gotten ZERO HELP FROM CBR to help treat her disease which they advertise they can treat this disease. Completely botched. I would never recommend this company. Packet instructions were terrible. OB and nurse practitioner couldn’t figure them out. I as the father had to step in and help, but by that time our cord blood was botched. They said that the only have a few cells with no guarantee. They have my wife’s credit card but sent her to collections with no bills to us prior. I would have never used them if I knew about the incompetence involved. We made a decision for our family and achieved zero results with this company.

DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! In December 2022 we gave our sample package to the courier. Supposedly it never got to Arizona, our account got cancelled without notification though we got charge. No notifications of any sorts about not having our sample, no notification about their supposed internal investigation. To this day we do not know what happened to our sample, though they did charged us for the cancellation.

I called & closed my PAID IN FULL account in 2018. In 2022, they contact me saying my account is overdue and demand payment for years 2019-2021. I CLOSED THE ACCOUNT! How hard is that to understand. Its not my fault your agent/operator cannot do their job and comply with the customers request.

Their customer support is atrocious. Nothing like being on the phone with them, hearing "your guaranteed wait time is under 90 seconds" non-stop for 25 minutes. They tell you to call them within 1 hour of delivery so they can send a courier, and they "guarantee" that the courier will arrive within 4 hours. At the end of that window, I called repeatedly to find out where he was. I was told, by numerous representatives, that they absolutely would call me as soon as they locate him. I never once received a call back. He finally did show up around the 7 hour mark. And after, all they do is say that it's ok because they really have 72 hours. I have had the absolute WORST experience with this company over the 15 years I have been dealing with them. They have made several billing errors (one time losing a payment and not realizing they had done so until over 5 years later which required ME to go to my bank and show proof of payment years later). In the meantime, the campaign of harrassing phone calls and emails went on relentlessly... They were rude and condescending. When I finally showed them their error they offered no apology. I would just end my relationship with this company but even that results in their requesting more paperwork, etc. My advice would be to stay clear of this company bc its like entering into a bad... It's been a nightmare. I was charged more than double than what I bought online (no explanations why) and have been waiting for a refund for more than 3 weeks. It has been exhausting to follow up with customer service to get this fixed. No solution until know.

Agree with many other comments, our price has gone up . Started at $100 in 2010, now $180 in 2020. They got us for our first two births, and of course if you choose to stop, well you loose your stored blood cells.
