Storage Used

Cord Blood Registry employs a seamless cryobag for storage which reduces the risk for breakage. To prevent contamination, cryobags are secured in a second overwrap layer of plastic. Stem cells are stored in vaults designed for long-term cryostorage. Cord blood units are suspended over liquid nitrogen at temperatures minus 196 degrees Celsius. Suspension prevents direct contact with any possible contaminants. This method of cryostorage has been clinically proven to keep stem cells viable for more than 20 years.

I do not recommend them. According to them, each year I was going to pay $ 130 and now they raised me to $ 160, according to them it was not going to increase, they are liars.

21% increase in 2 years... don't be fooled by this company ... they will give you discounts on the initial payment and when you ask about increases on the yearly fee they say that it rarely occurs... and then Bum!!! every year is getting higher and higher because "research" unless you lock up the price by prepaying 18 years or lifetime!!! how convenient.... !!! be careful!

44% increase in storage fees since 2016. We were quoted $125/ yr in our agreement with no mention that it was subject to increase. Now it’s $180/yr. avg increase of 11% per year is basically larceny by deceit cause the alternative is to dispose of the cord blood that is stored.

Fees go up without notification. Prices are not locked in. Can NOT imagine what they expect families to be paying ten years down the line. Look elsewhere and inquire thoroughly about the storage fees. This company at least conveniently left out all of this information.
