Sorry, but your assessment of Infinite Auto Protection is wrong. Did you even try to file a claim with them? Infinite Auto Protection will play every game in the book to avoid paying $1 in claims. It's a very easy formula: They require the insured to call one number and get a claim authorization number, which is given to the repair shop. Repair shop also has to call the same number, but select a different option, in order to get authorization for the repairs. Infinite simply does not answer the repair shop calls required before any repairs can take place. I had my car in the shop for 6 business days and they called multiple times per day with one of 2 results: 1) they were hung... Read More

This company is a complete scam!!! Avoid them at all costs. I paid $1850 for a platinum protection plan, and nine months later I had a needed repair. They would only authorize the replacement parts to be used parts with over 80,000 miles on them. Then they only covered 30% of the labor needed for the repair. Now I have a new needed repair issue, and they don't even answer their phones. My repair shop got them on the line and the lady absolutely refused coverage for a required suspension repair. I just Google this company and found that they have been banned from doing business in multiple states because of their business practices.

Zero Stars Purchased a warranty in fall of 2019 and paid up front. After being denied a valid repair for a u-joint because my mechanic fixed it prior to the infinite auto approving it, with pictures to show the bad u-joint before it was removed from the vehicle, and pictures of the replaced u-joint in the vehicle, I decided to cancel my warranty and be refunded the balance. Required steps for a cancellation were failed to be mentioned during the call to cancel, and forms were not sent to me to be signed even after mileage documentation had been sent. After months of calling to check on the status after being told all steps had been met and the remainder would be refunded in 12 to 14... Read More

This company is fraudulent. After refusing to pay a legitimate claim, I decided to sell my vehicle instead of paying out of pocket to repair it. I requested a refund for my policy which after only 1 year of their "non" coverage they are only offering less than a third of the original price for my refund. They claimed I never sent to the odometer reading even though I had emailed it to them multiple times. I have been waiting over 2 months to get my refund check in the mail, and I still don't have it. I called multiple times to check the status of my refund and they gave me the same runaround as everyone else on here with a 1 star review. They claimed the refund was stuck in their billings... YOU SUCK AND ANYONE WHO WORKS FOR INFINITE AUTO PROTECTION IS SCUM. NOTHING BUT THIEVES WHO SPEND THEIR LIVES LITERALLY FINDING WAYS TO MAKE UP EXCUSES TO NOT HONOR LEGIT SERVICE REQUESTS! NEVER, EVER GO WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU EVER EXPECT TO FILE A CLAIM AND HAVE YOUR CAR REPAIRED. I HAD A STRAIGHTFORWARD TRANSMISSION CASE ON A SUBARU THAT WAS WELL-MAINTAINED BY THE BOOK. THEY DENIED MY CLAIM WITH A HORSESHIT EXCUSE AND ARE A 100% SCAM. I WILL BE FILING SMALL CLAIMS, CIVIL SUIT, AND A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE MICHIGAN ATTORNEY GENERAL.

2 issues: First, I traded a car and cancelled my policy in June 2021. I have still not gotten my partial premium policy refund despite getting them the required documents in June. I keep getting told the refund refund request is being processed. Second, my other insured vehicle is sitting in the dealer's service bay since 9-20-2021 waiting for whatever. I was told to send all of the service records for the 2013 car. I have been collecting these. Now I have just been told that I need the bill of sale, title, and registration. I am now trying to collect these documents. When I speak to customer service on either issue, they are unfriendly and rude. Needless to say, I would... Read More

I too got taken by this company and I'm actually embarrassed as when I purchase something, I'm usually smarter then this. I bought their protection package back in June 2020. Had to use it once while on vacation in May 2021. What a joke. They barely covered anything and to date (as of 9/14/2021) neither the Ford dealership or myself have been reimbursed. The Ford dealership said they've NEVER dealt with such a shady company before. I since cancelled this policy on 1 July 2021 and now, they are telling me since I cancelled the policy, they will not provide coverage for the May breakdown charges. So it's middle of September, and at best, I haven't received reimbursement from... Read More

AVOID - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! They do not cover the costs of a repair and will not work with their customers. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. The cost of my repair in my local are is $515-$644. The $515 was with a 15 % discount. I had this quoted at 3 different locations. Infinite Auto will only pay for $200 total towards the repair costs. The parts that the local shops want to use are high quality parts that are after market or OEM parts. I looked up quality and reviews on the part. For the part that they want to use, it DOES NOT meet standards. An independent review of the part that they want to use DID NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS IN accordance with ASTM 415-15, ASTM E340-15, and... Read More

I purchased a contract and they approved a repair to be done on my vehicle. Since I paid for the repairs upfront they agreed to reimburse me so I fax them all the info. One month passed nothing two months passed nothing and this is after I made several calls. I contacted the State of California and to my surprise they are not even licensed to do business in California and actually it's against the law to sale Vehicle Extended warranties in California unless it's purchased from a auto dealership. Now I get a check after the Attorney General office gets involved but I want all the money that I paid into a fraudulent purchase.

I purchased a 60 month prime warranty paid $2000 infull payment. When I sold my car I only used 18 months of the warranty when I contacted infinite and sent my odometer reading to them they were supposed to send my recalculated refund to me within 14 days it has now been a month and when I call get the same excuse they use the covid virus and shortage of staff. I have read previous reviews and this company has a bad reputation of returning there refunds. The company is a scam do not !!! Purchase or do any business with this company you will regret it...please listen to me and read the reviews...I probably never see my refund but what I can do is warn others. 100% SCAM!!! I have had my vehicle in the dealership for (3) weeks at this point and received NO AUTHORIZATION from Infinite. They began my claim asking me to authorize my plan????? Why wasn't that done when I 1st signed up? It took several days after re-authorizing my own plan, then they wanted to get information about title, insurance etc.???? what for? I have the plan so get to fixing my vehicle!!!! But that's not the end of of it. They asked for my authorization again??!!!! Such as SCAM. It's not going on (3) weeks and the dealership doesn't even have authorization to begin work. (3) weeks without a rental car because Infinite won't authorize. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.... Read More

This company is terrible. I bought my extended warranty 6 months ago made my first claim and have yet to hear an answer. I keep getting the run around, get hung up on and now they don't answer my calls (and I know they know it's me because they answer by my name instead of asking what is my policy number). I even asked for a supervisor to call me last week and 3 times more to speak to a supervisor (even leaving a voice mail and an email) and have yet to receive a call). When I made the claim they asked me for all this documentation on vehicle maintenance records, bill of sale, etc. which they have (they even said they all of my documentation) yet they won't approve my legitimate claim... This company is a fraud. My first claim they wanted a copy of my title, bill of sale, and maintenance records. The vehicle was purchased from a national car dealer five months prior and they didn't pay my claim because there were not oil change and maintenance records. When I cancelled my policy I returned all the paperwork they sent to get my refund according to the contract and it's been over 30 days and no check. I called them and they said it was being processed. This company clearly takes your money with the intentions of not paying.

PUBLICpublished review 11/5/20 My vehicle overheated and stopped running. It was immediately towed to a Jaguar dealer. The dealer assed the car with a blown head gasket, something that can happen randomly. I have top coverage from Infinite. They sent an inspector, the inspector found the same thing confirmed with the dealer. Claims also spoke to the dealer and confirmed same issue, no fault of mine not a common issue with this particular vehicle. It’s been 14 days and no one will resolve the claim. I’m out several hundred dollars in rental fees. I have called 20 times getting the same answer “ it’s under review”. Agents constantly saying people are out of the office. Promising resolution... This has been the worst experience of my life. I purchased this' warranty' back in Dec of 2018, and just recently had to use it. EXCESSIVE WAIT TIMES, POOR COMMUNICATION WITH MYSELF, THE CUSTOMER AND THE MECHANIC SHOP, USING THE CHEAPEST REBUILT REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR THIS REPAIR. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!

I bought the repair contract, first time I used it it took them 2 days to approve. They would only pay for parts based on online parts companies and expected my truck to sit awaiting parts delivery. THEY ARE A FRAUD AND I WILL SEE THEM IN COURT. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Stay away from these people! I bought a warranty which went into affect on May 11, 2020, sold my car on June 7and notified them. Spoke to Matt at infinite auto protection who advised me that I would get an email never did call back on the 12th letting him know no email to no avail. I’ve called on the 16th spoke to Cameron again stated that the approval on the return of my money was sent to administration but never heard from anyone and no one ever contacted me. I called again June 22, June 29. Given the runaround over and over again stay away from these people I don’t even know why consumer advocate.org endorses these people buyer beware

NEVER EVER AGAIN. DO NOT BUY THIS! They had no problem issuing the warranty and taking my money, paid in full. When it came time to make a claim, I had provide all kinds of documentation including the original loan agreement, registration, complete service records, etc. Most was not covered including the emission system so I paid for all repairs out-of-pocket. Filed for a refund 3/11 ( I have kept records of each call) and every stall technique in the book has been used. Now, 5+ weeks later, it's Covid-19. NEVER AGAIN. I will go back to the warranty company I used before, they covered everything.

Find my claim on my toyota camry. They paid as agreed. Also make sure you read your contracts, Infinite partially paid a "non covered" part but won't do it again. At first I was upset then I spoke to the dealer and they said all warranties have exclusions. wxclusion

I purchased this warranty for a used vehicle. I spoke to the sales rep over the phone and asked which warranty would cover all of the infotainment system. I verified through the sales rep that I did n't have bumper to bumper, but that the higher cost warranty plan would cover the engine and all of the infotainment system. After a few months I was experience a problem with the blue tooth in the vehicle connecting to the infotainment. I went to the dealership 2 times to fix the problem. The dealer tried 2 different ways to fix the problem. That did not work. A few months later I was driving the vehicle and the engine light turned on. I took it to the dealer. The engine failed because a... Read More
