Empire Auto Protect Car Warranties – Time to Hold Them Accountable! 🚨 If you’ve been deceived, overcharged, or denied a full refund by Empire Auto Protect, you are NOT alone. I was wrongfully enrolled in a coverage plan I did not select, and despite clear evidence and repeated attempts to resolve the matter, I have yet to receive the full refund I’m owed—$100.21 remains unpaid out of $3,800. This is more than a customer service issue—it’s a pattern of deceptive business practices. And it's not just the company that's responsible—individual employees and sales agents involved in the misrepresentation may be personally liable under consumer protection and fraud laws, especially if... Terrible Customer Service & Refund Issues – Avoid This Company! I had an extremely frustrating experience with Empire Auto Protect and would not recommend them to anyone. I initially purchased a vehicle service contract for $3,800, selecting the "Select Plan." However, I later discovered they had wrongfully enrolled me in the "Essential Plan" instead. This was a clear misrepresentation, and I had recorded proof of my original request. After multiple calls and emails, I demanded a full refund due to this mistake. While they eventually agreed to cancel the policy, I still have not received the remaining balance of $100.21 from my refund. Despite confirming the refund, they have failed... Read More
I received my contract booklet. I am very disappointed, I was told, By agent Elie, that we would be covered bumper to bumper at 100%. I read through my booklet and discovered that we are only covered at 30/40/50% depending on the repair. I called customer service and they told me that they don't know why their agent would say that. I informed them that they need to listen to the phone conversation, since they record them, he said that he would have his supervisor call me back. So BEWAREIF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE...
Please read Reddit reviews, Better Business Bureau reviews before considering this company. They have a paper trail years long of denying claims, delaying claims for their adjuster to come and never show up again and again. They are possibly the worst company I have every been stung by- They delayed my claim for 3 months - denied it verbally only and refuse to put anything in writing. RUN DONT WALK FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY
OH MY GOODNESS! IN LATE NOVEMBER, I WAS DENIED SERVICE COVERAGE COSTING $2400BY EMPIRE AUTO PROTECT WHEN THEY WERE CONTACTED BY MY LOCAL BENZ DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT'. THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW WITH EMPIRE AUTO PROTECT. I BOUGHT A NEW VEHICLE AND REQUESTED A REFUND ON MY $35OO EMPIRE AUTO PROTECT POLICY, PURCHASED AND EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 2023. THEY TOLD ME I WOULD RECEIVE A CHECK IN THE MAIL FOR $2649. IT IS NOW 7 MONTHS SINCE I BEGAN REACHING OUT BY PHONE EACH MONTH FOR MY REFUND. EACH CALL, I WAS TOLD THE CHECK WAS IN THE MAIL AND MOST RECENTLY TOLD THEY FILED CHAPTER 11 BANKRUPTCY AND I WOULD HAVE INFORMATION COMING IN THE MAIL AS TO HOW TO TRY TO COLLECT MY MONEY! UNBELIEVABLE TO ME... Read More
Unsettling Experience with Warranty Claim and Threats! I am compelled to share my disheartening experience with Empire Auto Protect regarding my first warranty claim for my Porsche. Despite having a fully covered warranty and meeting the requirement of 1000 miles to negate a pre-existing condition, my claim was unjustly denied, conveniently labeled as "pre-existing." The process of pursuing the claim has been a nightmare, involving blocked emails and phone numbers, making it nearly impossible to communicate with EMPIRE AUTO PROTECT . Their claim partners, Dealer Loyalty Protection, also appear questionable, with salespeople doubling as inspectors. What is even more troubling is... Read More
It’s scam they will not pay I lost 5000$.. the BBB CLISES THEIR ACCOUNT.. after 60 days YOU CANT DISPUTE THE CHARGE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD ..
In October 2022, I signed up in good faith based on their "good rating" with an Auto extended warranty company called Empire Auto Protect in October 2022. I purchased their top-of-the-line Titanium package. In February 2023, I had a check engine light come on. I took the car to the dealership. The diagnostic was a defective ignition coil. The dealership contacted them and was told that the claim has been denied. I ended up having to pay $780.25 for the diagnostic and the repair. After multiple attempts via email and phone calls to reverse the rejected claim, I was told that it was considered a worn part even though it is specifically mentioned as covered on their Titanium policy line 14. I... Read More
I have been in the market for a car and inquired on 6/3 with Empire Auto/MEPCO about a warranty policy. Eric Nies, the salesman that helped me, said that I had 60 days to cancel, would get all my money back and everything would be good. I ended up not purchasing the prospective car and ask Eric to cancel the policy and get my money back to start anew when I found the right car – he told me I could cancel at anytime until August and it would automatically cancel if I had no car attached to it, so I could be locked in at that rate. I have been actively searching for a car and then found one 8/16, I never got the first payments back from the original policy, despite what Eric said about... Read More
