Our dealer included the extended warranty from EasyCare (parent company is APCO) when we purchased our new 2019 GMC Yukon Denali. The vehicle was taken to the dealer in May, 2024 because of a warning light. The dealer inspected the vehicle and found the transfer case was the issue - it contained a "chunk" of metal that had broken off from something. The vehicle was just out of the factory warranty and the service department submitted the claim to EasyCare. Approximately 3 weeks after the claim was submitted, according to "Savanah Spurgeon" of APCO, it was denied because the dealership failed to document a powertrain inspection when they performed normal maintenance on the vehicle. Scam. Do not use. I maintain my vehicles to the nines. As soon as you need a warranty claim for an oddball repair they rearrange the language in the terms and conditions to make sure they don’t cover it. Talked to 4 different people and each one held the same stance. Your only hope is arbitration. I know I’m right , but it nets you about $500 after fees and deductibles and a month of your time. Not worth it. Put $50-$75 away a month in a savings account for repairs. If 0 stars were available I would give it. Customer service was horrible.
Had to provide everything but the rights to my first born to get payment for my gap. Then they had an issue because the valuation report didn't match what the insurance company paid because they were nice and gave us more than the retail value. All in all had to wait 3 months to get reimbursed. Do better!
Had the tire warranty. 1 tire had to be replaced as it couldn't be repaired. Prior to getting the tire looked out to see if it could just be repaired or replaced, I called the warranty company to find out what the next steps would be. The representative told me what to do, how to even submit the claim to include the subject line. After the fact, as the tire had to be replaced, they added all these other stipulations that should have been done. So they decided not to pay a $300 claim after paying almost 5K for this useless warranty company. We will be cancelling the warranty. It makes a lot of sense that they will lose over 3k instead of paying for a $300 claim.
Don"t walk away from this company--RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. When you talk to the representative when you first purchase your warranty, seems like the Gold Plan covers everything. WRONG out of a $700.00 plus repair they only cover $263.00 this was for a covered repair. Evidently their allowable charges must be from twenty years ago.
ALSO when trying to talk to anyone on the phone the average wait time on hold is at least 45 minutes. Not only for you at the customer but also for the repair shop,.
Hello I purchased a easy care warranty from ATC RV in Iowa last month have had several call outs already they have gone above and beyond a normal insurance company would highly recommend Amber the Rep in the Iowa region she has been very helpful
Again would recommend easy care thank you
My claim was denied by EasyCare. The real issue lies in once I submitted the claim, I never heard back. I did call and spoke to a customer service representative who needed to speak to an absent supervisor. Never heard back after repeated emails and messages left on the representative’s voicemail. Not sure either the email or voicemail are real.
Your deductible is useless with this warranty, when I purchase this warranty, at no time did the dealership explain to use the warranty they use MSR parts, meaning they pay the price of the part not what the repair shop gets it for. Second they sell you that you can take it anywhere for repairs, that's where the MSR comes into play. If you take your vehicle to the dealership of your vehicle make, you will always pay more than the deductible. Nothing is simple with easy care, Nobody explains anything,I pay for that policy but they only want to talk to repair shop. So a $500 deductible cost me $1100 using my warranty to fix my vehicle at the dealership.
I'm generally leery of insurance programs but this one was not only super easy to use but worked without a hitch. No haggling, no problems. Highly recommend.
Easy positive experience on having a radiator replaced that went bad. Worked as well as if I had normal new vehicle warranty. Great job EasyCare.
Unbelievably excellent service. We were blown away with the service. So great that our repair shop now recommends EasyCare to their customers. We had many challenges with a used car we purchased and EasyCare took care of all the problems. If you buy a car...buy EasyCare!
70000 in on my 85000 warranty only 2017 F150, I had a few minor, but important issues crop up.My dealer , Cloninger Ford of Hickory, was great as usual, but I was really impressed with the EasyCare warranty coverage. No questions asked... handled all the problems I expected it to.The policy was not cheap, but has basically paid for itself.Well done.
Went to my dealership. Gave them Easy Care’s number. Came back to dealership. Paid my deductible. Went home. No hassle! Very pleased!
Had transmission failure in my Mazda 6, thought I was going to be out $5k but EasyCare ended up covering it, no problem, just had to pay my deductible. They really came through and I was glad to have purchased it when purchased the car.
Brought my GMC in for AC issues. Covered. Seemless and painless. Has to be one of the most Covered auto warranty out there.
I am so glad I purchased EasyCare when I brought my vehicle. They were quick with accessing the problem and saved me thousands of dollars. I HIGHLY recommend EasyCare!
We have never been people to buy a service contract for anything, but because RVs are notorious for issues, decided to take the plunge. So glad we did! We have had two issues with our fifth wheel and easy care came to the rescue and did it in such a way that the repair folks were willing to work with them directly because of their efficient process. I have heard bad stories about other extra service contracts, but so far we have been very grateful and impressed with easy care! Thank you!
EasyCare is very professional, and extremely “easy” to work with. The coverage I selected is excellent, with no hassles among myself, car repair shop, and EasyCare! I recommend it highly.
The package bought. IS the package you get. I have never had to justify the repairs and the folks at EasyCare are there to help. Thanks for keeping my truck in great condition!
Always a great experience when my vehicle needs to be repaired. Gives me so much security knowing I have EasyCare.
Easy care was suggested by the dealership I bought the truck from. I was a little unsure about it Because I like factory warranty But after having the truck for a year and a 1/2 and having a few problems Now I am completely happy I purchased it and have it I should go back to the dealership and thank him since I did give him a hard time about it
Great service, both for the road aid as well as the claim for the required repairs. Kudos to Easy Care, not so much for Kia Service, which took 29 calendar days to apply 6.5 hours of labor to fix it.
Great service so far only had to use once but the claim and repair process was so easy and non stressful
My Honda dealer let me know the torque converter on my Civic was leaking. The associate, TJ Graham, handled the details with Easy Care to have the repair done. I had a minor co-pay, but the majority of the repair costs was handled by Easy Care. It saved me over $1300.00. Much appreciated.
Power steering motor failed and I called Community Ford in Bloomington, IN to see how long the repair might take. I dropped off the car Friday morning. Service called back in the afternoon and advised me that due to the repair cost exceeding $2, 000, a warranty Inspector would have to review and approve the repair. Since it was Friday afternoon the inspector could not come till Monday. He approved the repair and I then had to wait for parts to be ordered and shipped. It was a somewhat time consuming repair, so the whole situation took about 10 days. I paid my $100 deductible and picked up the car. The warranty part of this was easy and went smoothly. Very happy I had the warranty!
