Very disappointed. I ordered 5 rolling blinds (3 regular and 2 blackout) in a store. The next day came to the store and change my order to all 5 regulars, get the new order printed out. After installation man took measurements, I got a call from store to confirm new measurements, it was a bit different that estimated so the price changed a bit. When blinds were installed, I figured out that my order wasn’t changed, and I got 2 blackouts. I called to the store, they said I changed the order back to blackout during the last phone call, which I did not. Blinds to Go knows my issues already. 1) First install date-no show-no call. Waited all day. 2) Blinds weren't actually ready. I was not notified. 3) Second install date-parts were incomplete. No hinge pins or rail magnets. 4) Missing parts shipped within 2 days to installer. 5) They would not prioritize my install. Had to wait over two weeks more to reschedule. 6) Trouble at actual install. Either a wrong measurement to start or manufacture error. The frames extend beyond the window trim. WARNING - I had a terrible experience with Blinds to Go. I ordered a simple vertical blind for my living room, and it was manufactured incorrectly TWICE--completely the fault of the sales person on their 800 # and the guy they sent to do the measuring. Each time, there was a delay in the delivery only to get the wrong blind again. I spent HOURS on the phone, complaining and waiting for satisfaction. It took TWO MONTHS until it was delivered correctly, and although the product was on promotion by that time, the company failed to credit me appropriately for the difference. Terrible customer service, they do not answer the phones for answers. they charged my card three times had to put a dispute in with cc. They never gave back refund as of today. Terrible business DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS !!!!!! never called or e-mailed when my order arrived in store. terrible....................BUYER BEWARE!!!!
I placed my order with Blinds To Go at North York store in Toronto, Ontario. My order was full service; professional measurements, manufacturing and installation. When I reported issues with my skylight blinds after 3months, installer came and remove the blind and send it back to the store. After that no response received by either store or installer. After multiple follow-up and visiting the store, I still don't have any resolution and today is over 5 years and NO BLINDS... I don't recommend the product nor services. I ordered a shade from Blinds To Go because the one I had in the window popped a string. It was a top down/bottom up accordion shade. I called BTG to see if it could be repaired and after learning that I would have to ship it them if I wanted it repaired, I decided to just buy another. They based the measurements on the previous shade I received from them. When the shade arrived it did not fit the window frame. It was too wide for the window. I called BTG and they insisted that they use the previous measurement and that I would have to pay $50 to have the shade picked up and another $50 to have it delivered again. We ordered cordless blinds and were supposed to get a clip to be able to list the blinds up - no clips were delivered. apparently they aren't made any more but no one bothered to tell us. Also, they tried to overcharge us for delivery. And now I'm waiting over a week for them to come and fix one of the blinds that fell off.
