Kohler Co. is a Wisconsin-based manufacturing company with more than 50 manufacturing locations on 6 continents. The company is a global leader in the manufacturing of kitchen and bath products, engines and power systems, and premier cabinetry and tiles. Its Walk-In-Bath uses top-of-the-line technology and design to provide extra safety and comfort.

Services and Features

KOHLER'S state-of-the-art Walk-In-Bath is designed to be as safe and secure as possible while providing added comfort, all at an affordable price. The bath's standard dimensions are 52" L x 28" W x 39" H, but these may vary since all KOHLER Walk-In Baths are customized to fit the size, width, and length of your current tub. The seat's regular dimensions are 21½" W x 17" H.

With one of the lowest thresholds of all walk-in tubs on the market and an extra wide entry door, getting in and out of the tub is easier for both the elderly and movement-impaired individuals. The bath's other safety features include easy-to-grip, sturdy handrails, which are positioned on the interior and exterior of the bath, an ergonomic control panel for adjusting the bath's comfort and therapy features, and slip-resistant surfaces with side grooves to avoid falling and allow water to flow away from the seat, preventing unwanted pooling.

KOHLER Walk-In Bath’s comfort features provide added relaxation while taking a bath. While the bath's hydrotherapy whirlpool jets deliver a powerful massage to the back, legs, and feet, its BubbleMassage™ air jets release tiny bubbles that energize, soothe, and support the hydrotherapy jets. Furthermore, the KOHLER Walk-In Bath’s Bask™ heated backrest keeps the neck and back warm as the tub fills and drains. This feature uses no more energy than a standard light bulb and has three levels of adjustable heat to complement the warmth of the bath water. An optional Shower Package is also available, giving bathers the option to take a safe, seated bath or a convenient standing shower.

KOHLER also provides different monthly discounts and offers in local markets to make the bath even more affordable.

The bath is also covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty for manufacturing defects on all bath components including but not limited to the bath door seal, and any hydrotherapy systems (pumps, motors, jets, BubbleMassage™, Bask™ heated surface) as well as the KOHLER faucet and handshower. Additionally, Kohler Co. warrants the KOHLER® Belay Walk‑In Bath to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original consumer owns his or her home, provided the Belay Walk‑In Bath is installed by a Kohler-certified installer.

I have gone through 10 tubs. 7 were not installed because of defects. 2 have been installed and developed defects so they had to me replaced. All were manufactured defects. The last one installed had a small defect that was promised it would be fixed. That was 3 months ago. All of this has happened in the first year after the first one was installed. I had to wait 8 months after purchase before the came to install my tub. The tub is working well but the quality and care Kohler give is substandard. (I never thought I would say that about a Kohler product).

In my humble opinion Kohler’s contracted installation salesmen and installers in my region are equivalent to big box store contractors (not the best in the bunch) . Throughout my 64 years I had always considered Kohler to be the Cadillac of bathroom appliances/fixtures. The product is fine but the sales, deconstruction and installation is equivalent to a car interior replacement from Tijuana. If your are a senior in need please let your younger family members handle any transactions. Please accept this notice as a cautionary point of due diligence. We’ve learned our lesson from our recent walk in tub installation and going forward will only purchase “American Standard” in the... Read More

My mother has chronic back pain and has invested most of her life savings in a Kohler Step in Shower Bath and a new Water Heater. Kohler is top of the line and she paid a large premium for their product. My mother had hope this would help her with back pain that has debilitated her over the last several years and kept her from living a normal life. She is too good of a person to complain about this. I normally do not write comments like this, but she is still waiting for Kohler to fix the issues she has raised since SUMMER 2022 when installation happened. We have communicated several times and have had several people from Kohler promise they would fix issues, but we are NOW 8... Read More

We just had our Kohler WIB installed and I have two comments to make. 1. Fast drain and fill. Anyone who touts 1-2 minutes fill and/or drain is lying. Both fill and drain times are determined by house plumbing; supply lines are usually 3/4" and drain lines are 1-1/2". Because of those constraints, a tub will most likely fill and drain in the 3-6 minute range. 2. Affordabilty. The word "Affordability" is realitively meaningless. What is "affordable" to an NFL quarterback is hardly comparable to what is "affordable" to an elderly couple living on social security (even though the latter would benefit more from the tub). The walk-in tub will coast as much as a new car - with comparable... Read More

I had a Kohler walk in tub installed on December 29,2021. The process was a total disaster. THey told us if there was any damage to the home such as skinned up paint etc. it would be repaired. I have had nothing but a headache getting any satisfaction from this company. There was damage to the paint in several places, the drain does not work properly and we were told the seat was heated. Well the back is but not the entire seat as the salesman said it was. I am a 100% disabled Veteran and I purchased this tub for the therapeutic value as prescribed by my medical provider. The installer left our house a complete mess. one would think that they would have laid drop cloths down on... Read More

My walk in tub with luxtone walls was installed today, the corner of my walls looks like cheap caulking strips were installed. The door is not level or flush with the rest of the tub. The door latch is also difficult to open and close. Not sure how someone elderly is supposed to be able to open and close.

I am designing a house and want to include a walk-in tub in the design. I saw that yours comes in various sizes and tried to find the specific size specs for them. However, they are no where to be found UNLESS I give my phone number to have someone call, which I will not do at this time. Why is it so difficult for me to get this information? I can get most all the specs for your regular tubs. I am certain that you have a PDF of something with all that information that can simply be emailed to me. If not you are about the only fixture company that doesn't. After all, if you can't supply it, I can just used another manufacturers product.

Worst experience ever! Could not get a sales representative to talk with me. We live in one state and are building in another. We received constant run around and were told no one would talk with us u til our house was built. We want to have the bathroom built to the specs for the tub we want to purchase, but can’t get a rep to talk to us. We were even told they send us information pamphlets on walk-in tubs and we got everything Koehler offers except walk-in tubs. No only have you lost my business, but I’ll not install any kohler products in my new or existing homes.

I purchased a Kohler Walk In Tub in May 2020. The tub itself has some great features and is almost perfect. However, after some period of time it developed some surface cracks. I contacted their rep in North Carolina who installed the tub. They did send someone out to look at the problem. He took some pictures and told me that he didn't fix that type of problem but they did have and expert who could fix the problem. He told me someone would call me to schedule the repair. I have been waiting over 3 months and still no call. When you try to call them it goes to voicemail and their mail box if full and you cannot leave a message. I would not recommend this walk in tub for this reason.

I went into your sight and you advertise your walk in tub 52 x30. When I called your local rep in Miami Beach, they told me they only carry the 60 inch. I called headquarters in Wisconsin and was transferred to 4 different people. It took 45 minutes of transferring from one department to the other to finally get the answer that Kohler does not make it anymore and that your sight has not been updated.Really? Does not speak very highly of a company like yours which I have always bought your products. I asked your associate If there each any in stock anywhere I could buy since I only have 52inches. She told me she had no idea and couldn’t help me. I hope that someone in your company can... Read More

We love our Kohler Walk-In Tub, which we purchased about six years ago. Our problem is that the plastic seal along the door to the tub has come loose. We have been unable to find out from Knapp's Professional Plumbing, where we purchased the tub, Lowe's or Merdards, how to fix this or if there is an expoxy glue, etc.to reattach this sealer. HELP!

I purchased this tub at a much higher price than what i was expecting. I love the tub, but wish i had spent less money; perhaps with a lesser brand

My kohler walk in tub has the most comfortable seat and largest door (biggest and widest) of all the tubs i tried. Safestep doors are really hard to get in to and seat is short. American standard seat is very uncomfortable! Kohler has the best quality and reputation. Walk in tub prices are expensive. With install included expect 20k depending on what you need. Thats where financing with kohler helped me. I got a 220 dollar a month loan to meet my budget. So well worth it because long term care is horrible and you lose your independence plus it cost around 8k month.

I called for a free quote that wasn't free. It cost me $2000 dollars, but I did get a show color toilet seat. The colors don't work. Initially I put up $4500 as a deposit and didn't hear from the contractor for 30 days. So I stopped payment on the check, should of stopped there. The Sales Mgr comes out does the measurements and wants me to put up the original deposit. I agreed to $2000 dollars. About 30 days later the installer shows up with the bath tub. Problem was it was the wrong tub, and 30 days later they call and said they had the right tub and wanted to begin installation, I said after 90 days from signing the contract to begin installation, forget it. This whole process... Read More

Had an appointment last night. Rep shows up tells us his company is exclusive for state of WI. Everything going good until its time for price quote. If we buy last night get a $1,950 additional discount. Says its save them from coming back to measure and look site over. BS as he had a tape measure and used it. When I said we would think about it, he left abruptly. Not very professional.

Incredibly unprofessional. My father and mother had an appointment with the exclusive turnkey installer for the state of Oregon and a jackass arrived who ploped down a 25k bid on a simple install with NO extras (water heater upgrade, paint to cover removal of bath enclosure, or even an overhead can light my mother requested. Really astonished by how Kohler sold out an exclusive on this one singular item (walk in tubs) to local pirates who treat (elderly) people this way. BTW my father called a GM to complain and they sent their "most experienced" sales person, but apparently with no concession since he took two hours to bid 24k on the same admittedly "simple" project. Total BS. Avoid... Read More

I am having a lot of trouble getting my Kohler Walk-In-Tub repaired. I call the number provided and leave a message but no one calls me back. This is going on for a month now. The tub is good when it works but having it repaired is taking a long time.
