VALoans.com is a VA loan marketplace that connects you with suitable VA loan lenders. To start the process, you answer a few basic questions on VALoans.com to determine if you're eligible for a VA loan and to figure out how much you plan to borrow. Once that's done, VALoans.com will collect your contact information and share it with its relevant partner lenders, who will then reach out to you to discuss your mortgage needs in greater depth. It may take a little more time, but it can save you from needing to contact multiple VA loan providers yourself to compare your options. Your loan terms will depend on which lender you end up working with.

VALoans.com User Experience

User Experience - 4.5 / 5

VALoans.com doesn't publish a lot of information on qualification requirements on its website, but this is not unusual. For one thing, VALoans.com is a marketplace, not a lender itself, so it doesn't have any qualification requirements. But the lenders it partners with likely will. Second, few lenders have hard requirements on credit scores or debt-to-income ratio. Instead, they consider all of the components of your application together, so it's difficult to set strict limits for each piece. The only way to find out if you qualify is to reach out to the lender or lenders VALoans.com pairs you with to see if you can get prequalified.

There aren't a lot of reviews of VALoans.com, which is unsurprising given that it doesn't directly sell mortgages itself. Its parent site, Mortgage Research Center, had a few Nationwide Mortgage Regulatory Actions and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau complaints, but not enough to be seriously concerned about. You shouldn't have to worry about the financial strength of your lender either as VALoans.com only partners with the top names in the industry. But it's always good practice to do some research on the company that will actually be providing you with your VA loan so you understand what you're signing up for.

I tried Veterans United. They started out like they were tying to put a fire out. I did my loan Appliction, payed for my Appraisal, Title , Work, Termite Inspection, and even payed Two Thousand Dollars ernest money to the seller. Louie Neiman and his team were very quick to do all that. Then what they don,t tell you is Underwriting has to make your Final approval. Before I did all of the first part I ask him several time what were my chances. The past few years I had several events in my life that had effected my Credit Score. The end of my loan process I would try to call, leave messages without any sucess. I finally received a call from him, a very unproffensional one at that. What he... Read More
