TERMINIX $1500 and I didn't even have termites to begin with. CUT AND PASTED FROM THIER WEBSITE CHAT ME-Cancel my service. -Hello, I'm sorry to hear that ... My name is Brandy ... Could you please verify your full name...? -Hi, William! Do you mind me asking why ... cancel services...? ME -I got this service because I found a soft spot in my floors and was worried it might be termites. However, I was under the house this weekend and found that I never had termites only a bit of dry rot. Your inspector should have confirmed that in the first place. -I understand. I am very sorry for that. This is a preventative and curative termite system. (To save words, I'm redacting the... Read More

I hired Terminix to treat our house for termites. They asked me to remove open containers of food/drink. We have a patio in the back yard with a table. I asked the man in charge if I could move the table far from the house and put opened bottles and containers on it. He said yes, that would be ok. He saw that we had done that. When I came back later before they removed the covering on the house, I was horrified to see that the workers had moved the table which had unprotected containers/bottles on it all the way back close to the house under the covering. I called and complained about this and was told to estimate the cost of the food/drink and they would reimburse me with a check. That... Read More

Absolute horrible company. Just google Terminix lawsuits and you’ll see. Charged me for visits when they didn’t show up. Took them six months to tent my house, refused to make good on a repair bond.

I wish I could leave a better review. But I got to say this company all together are terrible! They come out to your home when your not even expecting them to come. Then sit there and try to up sell you all this crap you don't need. There morals are garbage. Had a guy come out and tried telling me there's more wrong when I wasn't expecting him. Then I bought the crap and the people that come out and said there's nothing wrong. So I got reimbursed and im wondering if this company does this to everyone. I would trust them plus there more expensive then any other company!

Good luck trying to contact they for service. After being with them for over 20 years I am now questioning if it is time to look at others. I have not been able to get directly in touch with them via telephone, but have left a request to call back. The recording states they will make "one" call to my number. Several calls made but no response, or maybe they did but I maybe I was in the shower? Not a customer oriented policy.

Our contract was bought out by Terminix years ago and it has been one headache after another with them. We were told they would honor our contract price, this is far from the truth as the price continues to change and we need to call and fight with them annually. Service is very poor they schedule an annual appointment and change it without notification. Last year when the inspector came by I think he thought I wasn’t home, I was however and watched him walk across the front yard then to the back and he left. He never looked around the foundation of the house or came to the door. He was here less than 4 minutes “yes” I timed him - from the time he parked his truck, got out, walked... Read More

I HAD TERMINIX 20 + YEARS, AND WHEN I FOUND TERMITES THEY DID NOTHING, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS OLD DAMAGE; THE WINDOW WAS JUST 2 YEARS OLD

The service is bad. They refused to honor the termite bond repair. I consulted another pest control to inspect the termite damage on my house and they confirmed it was a termite activity damage but the Terminix manager insisted it’s not a termite damage but wood decaying. I had two Terminix technicians inspected it and confirmed the same as termite damage but the manager still insist wood decaying. Dont take your chance of getting scammed by their sales talk. Don’t waste your money with this company.

I cancelled my contract. The technician never showed up and would not answer his phone. After 3 hours, I called Terminix and they would not reschedule me for the next day.

We were lied to about the cost. We were lied to about the financing. The sales rep/inspector scared my wife into signing while I was in the hospital after surgery. He made it seem the house would fall down if the treatment wasn’t done immediately. He had her sign a contract and did not provide a copy. After two treatments we still had termites. It took over 30 days to get them to come back to do a second treatment so their refund policy is also a lie. My wife’s credit was destroyed, because we refused to pay them since we still have termites. Would not recommend to my worse enemy. Terminex has a bunch of fraudulent scam artists in my opinion!!

We live in Salem, AR and have experienced nothing but difficult service from Terminix. We had a yearly termite baited system that was to be inspected annually, however WE had to contact Terminix to get someone to come do the inspection. Then they refused unless the annual billing was paid in full. Once paid, they'd schedule for an inspection and never show up. We'd call only to find they rescheduled us without ever notifying us. they'd do this multiple times. After the last go around with them rescheduling us three times without notification we cancelled our contract, demanded they remove their traps and asked for a refund of our money. they did give us a refund only after going to upper... Terrible Company. First, the sales lady lied to me and "guaranteed" riddance of termites "or your money back". Now, 8 months later I am told on the phone that is only in the first 30 days. Amazing. Now I can't get my 2 years of prorated money back. Just awesome. Robbery at its best. I can't even get them to come back and retreat the stuff that they failed at doing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Buyer beware!! I had was told I was covered for subterranean and dry wood termites. I left a company I was with previously and paid more money because I was told I was completely covered by the salesman. When I actually got termites, after paying for years, I was told I was not covered. Signatures are electronic - beware!! Worst company ever!!!

We have contracts to cover all termites but the have not been able to get rid of them. We are trying to get them to tent the house but the local office in Orlando refuses to return calls from us or there national agents. We pay but don’t fell we are getting service or they stand behind any claims they make as to customer service.

We had termites in Boulder and used another company to get rid of them, and then check annually. Terminix bought that company and took over the contract. I have been so very disappointed by them. The people at customer service are nice enough on the phone, but there is no follow through and it has taken me months to schedule the correct inspections. (I want to be home so they check the crawl space where the termites were, not just the bates along the perimeter of our home.) I have spent hours and hours on the phone. I am told dates and times and people show up at other times. They want you to pay a year in advance to maintain your contract. I'm looking for another company.

You’ve got to be kidding me with these reviews. Terming is awful in my part of the world. They elevated our pricks from $220 to $1000/ year without warning. They also apparently, are setting Centracon bait stations that haven’t been checked in 2 yrs. very disappointed and tome to move on. Terminx is awful!

I have been a client of Terminix in Houston, Tx for several decades, and was always reassured that our quarterly inspection showed no termites. We have a crawl space under the house, and during an inspection by a prospective buyer of our house, found extensive water in the crawl space. Clearly, the termite inspector never examined the crawl space and his failing to notify us of the water problem, ultimately unraveled the sale of the home. When I asked the branch manager whether the termite inspector had ever gone under the house, he was abrupt, rude, and refused to comment. We were misled for years into believing someone had analyzed the ENTIRE house for termites, and after I explained... Read More

Seems ad is FALSE -- Terminex claims the dry wood termites just discovered are NOT COVERED under my policy - after been under contract with them for many years - am very disappointed and angry at Terminex. I wonder how many other elderly people like me trusted Terminex only to find a claim denied because they have the "wrong kind" of termites? also this comment did not go through - I'll keep trying though, THIS rejection of valid complaint really makes me angry!

We have been loyal customer since 2004 and just had our annual Inspection and they found NO Termites, again. But, we just received our Annual renewal and it went up from $237.00 per year to $999.00 per year. They say the increase is because of the 'Increase in Formosan Termite activity along the Gulf Coast'. We definitely plan to find another Termite exterminating & bonding Company today.

Terminix bought out the company who had my orginal termite bond. In the last year they have scheduled 2 appointments that they never showed up for. Called 2 other times to make an appointment to come inside but when I gave them the dates that someone would be home they said they would have to call back to schedule those dates. Never called back. They increased from $215 to $999 with no warning or explanation. I would give them zero stars if I could.

We have had a termite bond since we purchased our house in the early 1990s. The rates have increased steadily of course over the years. Last year we paid $318. I just received a bill for $1499.00 for this years renewal. REALLY!!! Supposedly due to the fact that the weather in this area create ideal conditions for Formosan termites. The weather in this area has been this way for longer than Terminix or I have been around. WHO increases renewal fees five times the renewal amount in one year. All they have ever done for us is wander around our house for a few minutes once a year. NOT happy.

I currently have a termite control plan with Terminix. They have numerous bait stations installed around my home but I have to force them to inspect the bait in the stations each year for any termite activity. In past years the only effective method to force inspection of the stations is withhold annual renual payments.

20% price increase on annual contract for termites is above and beyond normal. When questioned why this large increase reply only small increases are neccessary. Since when is 20% a smal increase? Increase is from approx. $300 to approx. $360. I have always put up with small (5 to 10%) increases in my over 40 years with this company but this increase appears to be padding the profits because there is no increase in service. I live in Little Rock, AR not Dallas, TX
