Ingredients

The glowup personalized teeth whitening system consists of a whitening light mouthpiece, three syringes of personalized whitening gel, and an adapter for iPhone and Android. The glowup gel is custom tailored to each individual user considering their answers to a survey which considers brushing habits, diet, teeth sensitivity, among others. The formulas are proprietary, so the company does not publish the exact ingredients. However, they use natural ingredients such as menthol mint, pomegranate seed extra, aloe leaf juice, and chamomile to disinfect and remove bacteria, as well as freshen breath. The formula is vegan and was not tested on animals. 

Ordering

In order to determine the right mix of ingredients, glowup asks for some information during the sign up process. After providing their contact information, age, and gender, customers must provide some information about their oral hygiene habits and lifestyle. These include:

Equipment

Glowup delivers a one-size-fits-all mouthpiece with built-in LED lights. In order to begin the process customers must first apply the gel into the the actual mouthpiece and plug the adaptor into the charging point of either their iPhone or Android. The treatment lasts only 16 minutes and the mouthpiece is waterproof so it can be washed afterwards with warm water.  

Effectiveness

Although glowup is a relatively new company, they have a good amount of positive reviews online. Customers mainly praise the speed of results. Glowup claims that customers can notice a difference with only one treatment. Additionally, the company claims the product can remove tough stains that does not cause pain or hurt teeth. Some users have backed up these claims. Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) seems to be the main whitening ingredient in glowup's formula. While there is not as much evidence as to the efficacy of this ingredient compared to, say, hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide, glowup customers are by and large pleased with the results they've achieved.

Glowup is a good choice for teeth whitening. The main selling point of the product is convenience, as it only requires a quick, 16 minute application for 6 days.
