Company Reputation - 3.5 / 5

Novation Settlement Solutions (formerly known as Novation Capital) is not rated by the BBB. Only a handful of customer reviews are posted on its profile, most of which are positive. Satisfied customers praised its helpful customer service, while dissatisfied customers complained that the company did not give them the highest lump sum quote possible, despite claiming to offer "maximum payouts." Litigation and Regulatory Actions

In 2015, a class action lawsuit (Buja v. Novation Capital) was filed against Novation Capital, doing business as Novation Settlement Solutions, accusing them of making unsolicited automated calls (robocalling) to people, despite their request to be added to the company's do-not-call list. This is in direct violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, a federal statute. It appears that the case may have been settled out of court, and no further information can be found online.
