Once you sign up and pay for NAV, you will likely endure serious frustrations utilizing their service. Their CASH FLOW page won't load so the one thing that could potentially have a huge impact on your company credit score is denied to you. Report this to their staff and you will be besieged by endless emails asking stupid questions like "Have you cleared your cache? Tried other browsers? Restarted your computer?" After repeating myself to Fletcher Davis - Customer Service Representative I gave up. He never did create a ticket to escalate my case to their developers and I finally gave up on NAV and signed up with their competitor. They get 2 stars for providing "some" free information but... I check my credit scores on a daily basis thanks to Nav, and have seen them go up as a result. Their customer service team is first-rate and the site is easy to use and pretty to look at. I've recommended Nav to multiple small business owning friends and they've had experiences similar to mine.
I found out about Nav when I was writing my book Finance Your Own Business: Get On the Financing Fast Track. I signed up for the service and was blown away. Finally a free way for business owners to understand and manage both their business and personal credit, as well as find financing offers. I told my coauthor we definitely needed to tell our readers about it; we included it in our book. I didn't know at the time that I'd end up working at Nav, but I felt their mission and service was compelling and ended up joining their team so that I could be part of their movement to reduce the death rate of small businesses. So I started out as a customer and am not also part of the team.
My Consulting Business has been running since 2015. I never thought of getting a business credit card other than the one that came with my business account at Wells Fargo. Nav's Marketplace showcases a wide range of business credit cards and told me which ones I'd most likely qualify for based on my credit scores. Now I have a great card and am earning rewards for every dollar I spend running my business.
I did not even know that Business Credit Scores existed! Thanks to Nav I have been checking my scores and doing some of the tasks they told me to do and my scores have improved enough for me to qualify for an SBA loan! So so happy i found them.
Nav provides free tools to help understand your personal and business credit score and they also show you where you can get financing. This is a must for anyone trying to grow their business!
Nav is the a diamond in the rough. Being a small business owner is hard. Figuring out how personal and business credit works and then trying to get business financing is absolutely crazy.
Nav makes it so easy to understand. They provide amazing educational content, free credit monitoring, tools for building your business, and people you can work with to get advice. It's freaking incredible!
Nav gave me the guidance that I needed to get funded. Now my business is doing well and thanks to them I have the education I need to be a successful small business owner.
Nav is the only business loan site that helps make decisions based on actual credit scores. It's great to get recommendations BEFORE credit is pulled and apps are filled out.
