Statewide Remodeling is a sales funnel website that connects homeowners with local Renewal by Anderson contractors. The company is not a manufacturer or installer of replacement windows. Consumers should take note of the website's privacy policy, which informs you that any information you provide may be shared with companies that Statewide believes may be of interest to you.

Just a Middleman

Statewide Remodeling is not a manufacturer or installer of replacement windows. The company is in the business of collecting information and selling it to Renewal By Anderson. Its website doesn't provide any helpful information about replacement windows. If you provide your contact information and request a free estimate, you will not receive one directly. You'll be told that a contractor will contact you shortly. Nor does the company specialize in window replacement referrals. It offers other Renewal by Anderson services, such as walk-in tub installation.

In our opinion, consumers have nothing to gain by using the Statewide Remodeling website and would be better off performing a Google search for "window replacement contractors near me." Statewide Remodeling only refers consumers to Renewal by Anderson. As a consumer, you'll want to compare multiple contractors to find the best product for your home and the best deal. And due to Statewide's privacy policy, there are risks involved in sharing your personal information with the company.

Poor Privacy Policy

According to Statewide Remodeling's website: "We may share certain information about you with carefully selected business partners, including those who may offer services that complement those provided by us or which we believe may be of interest to you. You expressly acknowledge and agree that these selected business partners may contact you directly about promotional offers, services they provide and/or other marketing materials. We may also disclose information to third parties who assist us in providing our services to you. For example, we may engage third parties to make improvements on our site, to offer new products and to allow us to customize your experience on the Site."

In other words, when you provide your information to Statewide, you are agreeing to have any company that Statewide partners with to contact you. You may receive offers from companies that do not provide replacement window services at all. You're setting yourself up to receive a barrage of promotional offers via phone and email. Nowadays, nobody needs more spam in their life. While the company allows you to unsubscribe from the promotional emails it sends, once your information has been shared with other companies, you will need to opt-out of marketing communications from each of those other companies, which can be a tedious and time consuming task.

Renewal by Anderson's Reputation

Renewal by Anderson is the largest window and door manufacturer in North America. Overall, the company has an excellent reputation for quality and service. It's routinely named by dozens of companies that review replacement window services in their "Best Of" lists. That's one thing Statewide Remodeling has going for it: it does connect you with one leading, high-quality replacement window manufacturer/installer. Still, there's nothing to be gained by using this middleman. If you're sold on the Renewal By Anderson brand, you might as well just contact the company directly.

Statewide Remodeling recently installed new windows throughout my home. However, I was disappointed to discover that they had installed the wrong windows. When I brought this to their attention, they denied any wrongdoing and even lied to Home Depot, who financed the project through my Home Depot credit card. The windows that were shown to me by their salesman were not the ones that were installed, despite the fact that I specifically requested the same windows that I had on my previous home. I even have documented and recorded proof that a supervisor from Statewide Remodeling came to my home and confirmed that the wrong windows had been installed, yet later denied this to Home Depot....
