monday.com is a cloud-based team and project management application. Originally "dapulse," the company was founded in Tel Aviv, Israel in 2012 and rebranded to its current name in 2017.

As a cloud-based team and project mangement suite, monday.com provides multi-user team integration solutions online and via mobile app. Available in four plan tiers, from a basic package up through a high level enterprise option, you can pick the plan that fits your needs and budget. Each plan is priced according to number of users and ranges from $39 a month for 5 users in the Basic plan up to $1,599 a month for 100 users on the Pro plan. Prices for the Enterprise plan or 200+ users in any other plan tier are unavailable on the website and require a call to a salesperson.

Each plan tier offers the same basic functions and the 24/7 customer support you'd expect to find in any project management software. However, the Basic plan provides a much more limited toolbox and only 5 GB of cloud storage. Timeline, calendar, and map views are available starting in the Standard plan (which also provides 50 GB of storage), while the Pro and Enterprise plans offer time tracking, chart view, private boards, unlimited storage and other high level features.

As the name suggests, the Enterprise plan is designed for big businesses and provides everything from one-on-one trainings to HIPAA compliance for medical companies. Large firms such as Discovery Channel, Philips and Carlsberg are among monday.com's customers, which tells you something about the quality of its product.

With a visually simple interface and a website full of FAQs, text and video tutorials, and even webinars, getting up to speed with monday.com's numerous functions should be a breeze. However, cutesy nicknames like "pulse" for message threads and "boltswitch" to rapidly toggle from one project board to another add confusing and unnecessary jargon.

Far from a simple project tracking application, monday.com's website showcases dozens of use cases, from inventory tracking to client management, time management, and post merger integration. In addition, actual examples and short walkthroughs on the site demonstrate how to utilize these different work modes.

Though its prices are somewhat on the higher end for the industry, monday.com provides an excellent product with a robust feature list and impressive educational tools and customer services. Multiple planning, tracking, and collaboration tools make for a highly flexible project management solution for individual users and massive corporations alike.
