My pet, Mocha, recently underwent her 2nd TPLO surgery. She had her 1st TPLO surgery 4 months ago and had also underwent surgery to remove over 23 mass growth. I'm thankful for Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. It typically takes no more than 1 minute to upload my documentation for the claim and within 72 hours Mocha's claim was processed and a check was mailed. Thank you Healthy Paws Pet Insurance!

Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver for our dog Moby! He is a 3 year old St. Berdoodle weighing in at 130 lbs. If you've ever had to have surgery for a dog this size, you know how expensive it is. Moby recently underwent emergency surgery for a blockage and it saved his life. Knowing that we had Healthy Paws meant that we never needed to question our ability to save his life due to financial stress. This, unfortunately, is not the first time we've had to use them for a larger ticket item:) They are responsive, process claims immediately, send reimbursement checks AND email to ask about how your pet is healing.

I have 5 of my dogs insured with Petplan and unfortunately my dogs have had many expensive health issues. Petplan has paid for everything as promised, never a problem with reimbursement. My only gripe is that after years of being insured, my dogs are now 9 years old and their premiums are now getting so much more expensive that I will have to drop their insurance.

Hi Marlene. Thank you for being a loyal member of our family. We'd hate to see you have to cancel due to the costs. Please give us a call at 1-866-467-3875 so we can review your policies and see if there is an opportunity to make an adjustment. Thank you.

I can't say enough about how great Pet Plan has been to us. Our sweet Murphy has been through so much, and they have always been fast, efficient, empathetc and kind. Kim Boone called this morning to check on Murphy and to see if we had any questions. She was very compassionate and we really appreciate it .

Thank you for those kind words, Cathi. Our family members mean the world to us, and we only want the absolute best care for Murphy. We're honored to have you in the family.

I've had PetPlan for years, I think around 8 years now and I cannot be happier with their coverage, speed of processing claims and the amounts that they cover and reimburse. They do not split hairs, and I never had a question or a doubt that they were not being fair in their reimbursements. I've had three cats covered through them, out of which one had to be put down due to acute renal failure and it cost in the ER hospital fees in thousands of $ (LA, CA). They paid me back everything, minus the deductible and up to 80% for the ER/specialty care. Then I adopted my second cat, who is still rather young, but he just had a second bout of pancreatitis in his short 5 years of live. He barely survived and the bill again was in thousands of $$$ for having to rush him in between an ER and ER Specialty hospital. PetPlan again covered a fair deal and sent me a check within 10 days. No questions asked. Fair coverage, happy customer and my cat pulled through, thankfully to this great insurance and even more so to the staff of the two hospitals that took a good care of him. Thank you PetPlan!

Regarding the online quoting system + let me include multiple pets on same quote - can't figure out how to pay an annual amount rather than monthly - they add $25 to the first payment for account set up =deal breaker

I've not actually had my pets covered under this insurer, but they are among the ones I obtained quotes from while shopping around. I have 2 cats; a 4 yr old male & a 12 yr old female. The female is actually in better health than the male, with his frequent UTIs, however because she is over 8 yrs old the best plan they will give me is a $500 deductible & 70% reimbursement, with various limitations. And at the same rate as the comprehensive plan for my male, which has a $100 deductible & reimburses at 90%.
