InboxDollars lets consumers earn cash by answering online surveys, watching videos, playing online games, signing up for offers with partnered companies, and shopping at selected online merchants. Users can access the platform on their computer browser or via the InboxDollars mobile app. When a Cash Earning Activity is completed, the value of the offer is deposited into the user's InboxDollars account.
Once $30 or more are accumulated into the account, the user can request a payment. Payment is made by check, prepaid Visa card (which can be mailed to the user or sent as an online code that can be used immediately), or ePayment. EPayment lets users put their balance towards online gift cards from up to 50 merchants. Consumers can purchase the gift cards for themselves or send them to another person as a gift. It is also possible to use the balance to make charity donations.
Redeeming the balance involves a $3 processing fee, which is taken from the balance and refunded back into the member's account. Once the request is processed, it takes between 10 to 16 days for first time payments and 3-9 days for any subsequent payments.
