Overall Rating: 4.5 / 5 (Excellent)

Webull is a smart option for those with a little experience in investing who are trying to minimize their fees. It's one of the few online stock brokers that doesn't charge any commission or annual fees for its services, but it also lacks the live support and educational resources found with some of the online stock brokers that do charge fees. But as it's free to use and explore all of its features, there's no reason not to give it a closer look to see if it has the features you're looking for in a stock broker.

Webull Features

Features - 4.6 / 5

Webull offers self-directed online brokerage accounts and traditional and Roth IRAs for the digital age. Users can manage their investments via mobile apps for Android and iOS devices. There are also apps for Windows and Mac computers. It doesn't offer financial advisors or all of the educational resources you find with some of the more established and robust online stock brokers, but its offerings are pretty competitive when you consider that it doesn't charge any commissions and has few fees in general.

Webull Fees and Commissions

Pricing and Fees - 4.6 / 5

Webull is one of the best options in the industry if you want to invest without being nickeled and dimed by fees. It doesn't charge any commissions and there's only a $20 minimum deposit to open an account. There's also no annual fee, inactivity fee, or account maintenance fee. Few other online stock brokers can match Webull in this regard, so move it up on your list if low fees are high on your priority list.

Fees (Additional Info)

Webull does not charge commissions but the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) do charge fees on sell orders. There's an $8 fee for deposits via domestic wire transfers and a $25 fee for withdrawals via domestic wire transfers. These fees go to Webull's clearing firm, Apex, and not to Webull directly. The fees are $12.50 for deposits via international wire transfers and $45 for withdrawals via international wire transfer. There's also a $2.50 fee for each paper prospectus mailed to you and a $0.25 per-page fee for paper statements and confirmations.

Webull Financial Strength and Customer Experience

Customer Support and Reputation - 4.5 / 5

We weren't able to find much information about Webull from independent agencies like the Better Business Bureau (BBB), but it is a member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), which protects securities customers of its members up to $500,000, so you shouldn't have to worry about any issues with the company's long-term stability. It doesn't offer any live support, so it may not be the best fit for those who are new to investing because there's no way to get fast help when you need it. Webull does offer email support, though, so you can reach out this way if you have any questions or issues with the platform.
