This company sucks. Ripped me off royally. Totally impacted my retirement. Original quote was 8,000 $ but that was increased to 20,000$ They should not be in business. Anthony is the biggest con man. I felt so helpless. They didn't return calls. It's pathetic and I feel like such a failure but my hands were tied. The big increase was 2 days before new owners were moving in. You need 0 stars!!!!!

3 Brothers Moving and storage was one of the worst experiences of my life! Original quote was 8,000$ and in the end it came to 20,000!!!!!!! There needs to be a O star!! Once they get your money they won't return calls.

Luckily I wised up before I let this company broker out my move. Still, I lost my deposit of 1600+ dollars because they did not refund it. They told me it was coming and it never showed. I went through the Better Business Bureau and the company spun the same story--that the deposit had been sent via the mail. This all started in June of 2024 and it is November of 2024 and I still have not received my deposit refund. Unfortunately, Better Business Bureau had to close out the case as unresolved as there was nothing more they could do. All I can say is that I was lucky I did not go through the complete move as I have lots of vintage items and antiques.

Gave us an estimate over the phone then without our knowledge they brokered out job with Master Movers. When our delivery was late, I called. I was told they had taken the truck from our Bay Area home down to LA where it was for a couple of days then they loaded our entire ;homes belongings into another truck (rental and end result was HELL!!! Some items had gotten so hot that they melted! Items not properly packed, not hung in wardrobe box just thrown in box, boxes and crates smashed, torn and crates broken! They took quoted us 13K, then held our items of 40 plus years of hard work acquiring so many antiques, art and special items until we paid them $27,000. NOONE to move items from truck and set things up...everything had been loaded and unloaded 8 times that I KNOW OF...damaged, wet boxes...smelled like cat urine. 75% of our art antiques and furniture were damaged and unfixable. THESE PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS! This is our great America we live in today. Nobody can or wants to help hold these people accountable. Ripped off my deposit ($1,900). Put me down for a move then couldn't provide the insurance coverage required by my building. Said they would have their "business office" contact me to discuss a refund, but all follow-up phone calls and emails went unanswered. I am now in the process of reporting them to the authorities. Since my experience, I've learned that the Department of Transportation has recorded 48 complaints regarding "deceptive practices" in the last two years ago (20 in 2023 and 28 as of August of 2024). Do not use this company. They may or may not be committing fraud technically, but they are certainly committing ethical fraud on a daily basis.

DO NOT USE 3 BROTHERS!! THEY ARE RIPPING ME OFF FOR THE DEPOSIT ($1885.00) I PUT DOWN FOR A MOVE THAT I CANCELLED AFTER THEY CAME BACK WITH A MUCH HIGHER QUOTE THAN THE 1ST ONE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY or TMS TOP MOVING SOLUTIONS or MOVING SOLUTIONS. They are all connected. SCAMMERS READ ALL THESE REVIEWS. A complete NIGHTMARE.....Quoted 1976.00 Cancelled PU time twice, then showed up at midnight, picked up the items with no signature. Now 17 days later and 2500.00. Plus additional fees of who knows, we still do not have the items. As of Tuesday owed another 800.00. I call and email and get no response. Occasionally I do get someone on the phone and after I am on hold for 15-20 min the answer I get is we have 21 days to deliver. We'll call you when we can get you on the schedule. Worst company ever, showed up and immediately before stepping into the home they were already telling me "I will tell you how this goes"............ And right on queue they told me my estimate was not going to be accepted and they upped the price from $2,901 to $7,459 because they charge by the space on the truck. As a former Ops Manager for a moving company that is BS, local moves are by the hour not the space, not to mention he flat out lied when I asked ok what can you take for the estimate/quote and he pointed at a few things on the first floor. Showed up in a Ryder Rental truck and no uniforms, just run away. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM COMPANY!!!!!!

They were nice when I initially talked with them to get a quote. This included an armoire. They picked up our furniture on June 6, 2024 and never made the delivery. I have to add that they wanted to charge more for the armoire because it was too heavy. I did not deliver it. They should have told me this in the beginning. I have made multiple attempts to contact them and they will not answer. I was promised June 16. It never arrived. Fraud, SCAM. They are not movers, they rely on others. They don't come out for an inspection and they give you a very low estimate: when the real mover comes out for the move he tells you that it takes more people, more hours of work, more space and a lot more money. ABSOLUTELY AVOID.

They were terrible. Very rude, lost the furniture for a while. Wouldn't tell me when it was arriving. Then the driver threatened not to deliver the furniture unless he was paid in cash, which wasn't part of the original contract. Then one mover shows up and my cousins had to unwrap the furniture and fold up blankets, etc. They also broke several items. Terrible company

I have paid $500 down for a move that starts tomorrow. Customer service hung up after 35 minutes on hold and we have called 13 times. I just called the main # and started to explain and the guy hung up on me. I believe they are scammers and now I'm in a jam for the move. Lori Stone was in charge of the Bill of Lading. Anthony Delvecchio was the Director of Sales. I think I've been swindled and need help.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They give you a low quote and take a deposit. They show up and automatically double the quote without even accessing your household. They will not return your deposit and will not answer your calls or emails. Again, this is a valuable caution: DO NOT USE 3 BROTHERS MOVING AND STORAGE.

I sure wish I had done more research on this company before I contracted with them. I, like so many others in this review thread, was scammed. After I paid my deposit the cost was changed to be 3 times the original estimate. I cancelled the contract and like everyone else, have lost my deposit and they will not answer phone calls to discuss. I was sucked in by the few favorable reviews that they have received - makes me wonder if they are "fabricated" reviews - who knows?? As the old saying goes...I would avoid them like the plague.

Here's my review that has been submitted far and wide including Trust Pilot, Yelp, and BBB: Never use 3 Brothers Moving and Storage. Unbeknownst to me, they gave me a low estimate and a different moving company moved my stuff and increased the cost by 89%! I am 66, live on a fixed income, and had pared back my stuff to next to nothing, and this was only an 8-mile move. I was assured by my initial estimate by 3 Brothers that my move would not exceed $2,000 even if I doubled the number of boxes, which I did not. They are a scam. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you get scammed like I did, call the police and hire an attorney, they will fight tooth and nail to ensure you do not get your money back after charging you double the quoted rate. They broker our your move to the sketchiest company they can find and will never answer the phone again after your belongings are picked up. Your only hope to get money back is if the movers don’t ever show up with your belongings. Listen to the one star reviews, don’t make the same mistake I did.

I HAVE NOTHING good I can say about this company other than they are a bunch of crooks in my opinion. They hounded me for the business to move from Portland to NC. They gave me a great deal, polite and professional. But when it came to moving day, they were nowhere to be found. They not only sold my job to another company, but that company sold my job to another company. Each company had no idea what the other company agreed upon. DO NOT USE 3 BROTHERS MOVING! They are a middle man and they cost out your job to a random company - usually those carriers that have the WORST EVER reviews. Main issues being: Zero communication as to where our things were Trucks 'breaking down' and having no idea when they will be 'fixed' - this is more than likely a LIE because I'm sure they lost our stuff at some point. When we reached out after receiving our stuff (a month later) about the overcharge when our items were picked up (to the tune of an ADDITIONAL $800) and they said, go talk to the van line. Zero help.
