They state clearly on their website that a life partner who lives at the same residence is eligible for this coverage. They took over 2 hours to call me back and said their membership director declined to cover the transport. They do not care about the hippocratic oath or the spirt & faith of their agreements. Zero stars Had accident and emergency surgery in Utah. Immediately after surgery one of the people in my ski party arranged for a friend's private plane to transfer me back to my home state. My condition precluded me from letting anyone know I was an AirMed member. When I contacted AirMed (13 minute wait on hold) I was then informed that because they were not informed in advance they would pay nothing. I understand they may have been able to reduce costs as a result of their resources but they would have had some costs. The fact that they used my severely sedated condition to refuse to pay any costs makes me question the value of membership.
