About EveryPlate
EveryPlate deliveries will include 3 recipes per week, serving 2 or 4 people, depending on the chosen plan. Customers may review pre-selected menus or choose 3 from 5 unique weekly recipes. EveryPlate meal subscription can be canceled or skipped at any time. Orders can be modified by midnight 5 days prior to the scheduled delivery date. To change the number of servings, delivery day, address, email address, payment information, password, or skip any week or weeks, customers may do so easily on EveryPlate’s website. EveryPlate boxes are usually delivered between 8 am and 8 pm.

This company charged me fraudulently for something I never ordered. Then said they could not cancel the box because it was too late. I finally got my account canceled, but they refused me a refund. AND the box they charged me for never arrived. I'm reluctant to contact them because I don't want them dipping into my checking account fraudulently again.
I don't know how a company with such deceptive practices stays in business, but I reported them to the better Business bureau.
They billed me without me actually placing an order. And tried to bill me for two weeks at once? I’m on disability and every dollar counts. It really financially messed me up. Customer service could explain what happened and refunded me but left my profile there and it was set to bill again! I’m fuming. I’ll NEVER do business with this company.
Every Plate got boring after a month or more. To get the meals I thought I might like usually added $4.99 or more per serving which made the meals $11 or more per serving. Not great. Would like a more realistic comparison between meal delivery services.

If I could rate this ghetto food service any lower I would. They kept charging and mixing up my order where I was receiving meats and not vegetables like I picked out. This happen 2x and I canceled the account back in March 7, 2023 they continued to try and get funds from my account. Today my account was overdue from Everyplate for a box I didn't order. I was told there is no way to refund me and to donate the box to someone in need. I'm the person in need of my 49.99 that Everyplace stole from my account without authorization.
Everyplate is a scam! I went on their website to review their menu (which sucked) and 2 weeks later got a box in the mail with a $40 charge that I never authorized. When I called to complain their representative hung up on me. I had to call my credit card company to cancel the charges. They will scam you out of any money they can, like an $11 dollar delivery fee.
I am writing due to EveryPlate charging me an incorrect amount for my transaction placed on January 6, 2023. I received a promotional e-mail from EveryPlate for previous customers asking them to come back and receive a promotional offer of $1.39 per meal. I clicked the promotional email’s link, it took me to EveryPlate’s web site, I logged in, and the promotional discount code was already filled into the promotional box. The code was 4J-MQSAV. I've been a customer for a while. They removed any way to submit feedback other than a phone call. 6 calls, all to the Philippines. Previously, I spoke with employees in the US. The 5th representative hung up on me after telling me he was in the Philippines. Calls are recorded. Apparently, they've removed any way to correspond with them or offer feedback, and outsourced their jobs (I can only assume). I'll pay more from a company that cares.
Was subscribed, and had two out of the last three boxes I received arrive completely thawed, leaky, and too warm for safe food temperatures. The first box was credited to my account, but the second they were only going to offer a credit for the meat items despite the disgusting gel leaking all over everything else. I explained that I would cancel. I got a call from a supervisor stating that they would give me a full refund for the box and hope that I would try them again, to which I said I would consider it. A ridiculous amount of plastic packaging. Food is ok but the number of plastic bags is just baffling.
When signing up for a gifted box, it was unclear that I was signing up for a weekly subscription. Didn’t realize I was getting another box until I got a text message saying my box was going to be delivered tomorrow. Called customer service and the first guy put me on hold to check with his supervisor to see if there was anything they could do about a refund as it’s not something I could afford (I’d be happy to send the box back unopened) and got hung up on while on hold. After calling back the second guy completely stonewalled me. I’ll make sure to tell everyone I know not to use this service.
Although my first box was deeply discounted due to a coupon given to me, I chose the plan for four people and four meals. Upon delivery, I did not receive one meal and some ingredients , chili peppers, lime, etc. were not in my box. Upon calling them, instead of them sending what they omitted from my meal plans, they said they would give me a credit on my next box. This was a first delivery and with the issues I had, I will not be ordering a second box. I was anything but impressed.
While everyplate is a deal, I had three out of three deliveries delayed and arrive in an unsafe temperature manner. Customer service chat takes over 30 minutes and isn’t much help until you demand a refund. I’m sorry, I really wanted to like them but the safety of their delivery method leaves way too much risk for me. Especially with chicken and pork.
Horrid company! Items do not arrive or are ruined on arrival days late. Extremely overpriced for what you get. Near impossible to cancel. Promised credits are never applied.

I joined them online. I did not know ahead of time that they picked the food for you. I didn't see that anywhere on the website. There was an option to swap out meals, but I couldn't get it to work. I immediately canceled, but they charged me $24.08 anyway telling me they had to do that & I would be getting that first shipment of food & nothing else. I called to complain. I subscribed to Every plate and was a big fan. ..After a while the meals became boring so I stopped the service. I received a "Comeback" email offering me a box at $1.79 per meal and 10% off the next 2 boxes after that so I signed back up. I was then charged full price for the box and the customer service rep (who I could barely understand) said that I would have to pay full price because my email had no promo code attached. Its now too late to cancel the delivery so I'm stuck paying full price. I am so frustrated with their lack of customer service that I am again leaving this food delivery service and not returning.
We had our first Every Plate meal and we're very pleased the outcome .

The recipes from every plate or excellent and the food quality is fair. I'm a long term customer and have used their service since the start of the pandemic. My wife is immunocompromised so this is a great choice to minimize time in grocery stores.
However, they have had significant billing issues a lack of customer service.
I have been double billed for my last two weeks of orders & this isn't the first or only time. They eventually resolve the issue, but it can take weeks. Meanwhile they have taken or tied-up hundreds of dollars that could be used elsewhere.
Looking at other plans. Even if they are 'more expensive' it'll be worth it if they don't double-bill
I tried Everyplate for 4 weeks. The first couple of weeks were great. I did have items missing in my orders though. By the thrid week I saw that the quality of the food was dropping. Vegetables were rotten and had worms coming out of them. Meat packages were opened and leaked all over everything. I just cancelled my subscription because the quality was horrible. The recipes were great and I can't wait to make them buying my own vegetables.
My husband and I have been subscribing for several weeks now. The meals are delicious and affordable. It helps tremendously with meal planning and shopping. We haven’t had any bad experiences with product or missing ingredients. It is really simple to skip a week when needed. Would highly recommend if looking to enhance cooking skills and spend some time in the kitchen!
The meals are easy to prepare, the portions are smaller and some may qualify as two people meals, or one large person. Definitely worth a try for four weeks at least.
They trick you into auto enrolling in a subscription. They used a free box to lure me into it and then charged for $70 for the second week without my consent. Its hidden in the terms and conditions. Testers be ware!
I've had 12 meals from EveryPlate and I can honestly say every one has been impressively delicious. This is a very easy to use plan, it's easy to make changes and arrives on time. For the price, you can't go wrong! Just try it out....there's no commitment!!
Don't look much farther as when it let's you look at meal options, somehow directs to payment. Even if you back out, it, they somehow get your payment information if it is anywhere in you phone. I've had to call 2 times now for UNAUTHORIZED payments taken from my account.
I DID NOT SIGN UP. I was only looking. I do think for some this could be a great deal. My husband said no when I discussed with him so, no for us.
They at least got 1st refund done & 2nd is in process.
This service is absolute trash. Website won't accept paypal transactions, promo codes are misrepresented, no way to contact sales support.
