if I could I would give this company O stars!! Avoid this company all together. Purchased a king I8 mattress with adjustable base on 11/24/23 with a delivery date of 12/09/23 between 1:30-4:30. Got called at 1:50 on the delivery date by Customer Service to tell me my order wouldn't be delivered today because they order wasn't at their delivery warehouse and would have to reschedule delivery on 12/20-11 days later! I asked customer service why they weren't aware that my order wasn't there first thing on the morning of 12/09 and all they could tell me was this was the info they received. So this big company doesn't communicate this internally that the order won't go out. I said that... Read More
Don't walk away, RUN AWAY!!! Do not trust them when they tell you that you do not need a remote for the adjustable bases. Although that may be true initially, just wait until you have issues with the adjustable base because it WILL HAPPEN! In order to trouble shoot the base you HAVE TO HAVE THE REMOTE! Oh and the fact that you have spent $11,000 for the bed does not matter! You still have to BUY the stupid remote! I literally spoke to the manufacturer of the adjustable base and the remotes are included for free with the bases. However, they try to ding you another $50 for the stupid remote that they received for FREE!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! THEY... Read More
I purchased a queen size sleep number bed approximately 2 years ago, after sleeping on the bed for about 6 months I started falling off the bed. I feel off the bed to the floor sporadically on 4 occasions without injury. I thought it was due to the fact that I downsized from a king size regular bed to a queen size sleep number bed. I didn't make a fuss about it because I was not injured, I did mention it to family members, my husband and my doctor because I am in my seventy's and have Osteoporosis, she was alarmed until I explained that I was not hurt. On the fifth fall I did injure myself and that's when I realized that something was very wrong A couple days later, I feel again, and I... Read More
After 13 month my bed was losing air and I called the company and it will cost $149 for the workers to put in a new air chamber. I put the bed in storage. I'm not going to spend this extra money every so often.
Beware delivery is $249 and if you return the bed is is another $249!! I questioned the $249 delivery thinking that was steep but assuming that included returns. NO, BIG RIPOFF. $500 for delivery and pick-up, never telling me there would be another $249 pick-up charge. I would have brought it back to the store myself knowing this unmentioned fact.
Not only did I not get a comfortable bed but got stiffed for $500. So disappointed and eing a widow,, on a fixed income this hurts bad. Shame o you sleep number.

The sales person told us that the bed was returnable within the 30 day trial period. We waited 6 weeks for the bed and then I called within this period and they tried every move possible to get me to not return the mattress. CAUTION!!! READ ALL FINE PRINT!!! Do not assume that when the sales person says the bed is returnable that it means the whole bed. The adjustable base is not returnable and they charged us $250 dollars to pick up the mattresses. The C4 split king XL model is too short for my 6 ft tall husband ( no problems in the store that he noticed) and the bed felt different than the store model I personally thought. On lower settings the mattress made crunching sounds. Overall, I... Read More
Poor customer service and return policy. They need to approve your return even if it is in 100 day window. Read the fine print. I was unable to return my mattress that I had for 30 days because of a stain from my dog. Then I was quoted $1300 for replacement cover and foam!
Incredible. Bought a split king Sleep Number 360 iLE in Aug 2021 with the FlexFit 2 base. Previously used natural latex and older Select Comfort models. It's not cheap and the more complex the bed is, the more opportunities there are for failure. However, so far it's been amazing, especially with their curved ComfortFit pillow. When considering how much time we spend sleeping and how important quality sleep is for our health, at $7,400 for everything, even if it all falls apart in 3 years, it will have cost us ~$3.4 per person per day to have a great night sleep. We did have an issue with some parts when they were initially delivered, and it took about 1.5 months to get on their... Read More
This is a complaint about customer service ——Bought a Sleep Number IQ adjustable bed in 2017 - while we love the bed and have had positive interactions with Sleep Number customer service within the last year for a pump problem we were having with a bed purchased over 7 years ago, yesterday and today trying to troubleshoot a ‘connectivity error’ we were told we would be called back yesterday when wait time was over 15 minutes- we were not called back. Today called customer service 4 times and transferred to other representatives during each call - we were disconnected each time with no call back from the person we were talking with despite them having 2 telephone numbers to contact us -... Bought a sleep number in August was to be delivered in October got rescheduled then rescheduled and the rescheduled again 4 times rescheduled 4 different stories and to compound it my wife got one story I got another. My wife purchased the bed to help me with my PTSD and sleep apnea caused by numerous deployment to Iraq/Kuwait. We finally after the last story canceled our ordered. Now we are going to have to look for another bed since the old one is gone due to be promised the delivery on October 26 which never happened and was rescheduled for November. Where does the lies/stories begin and end. So much for be a military friendly company. Very disappointed in Sleep Number, customer service... Read More
Our base malfunctioned last night. Half of the bed is stuck in the upright position (we do not have a split mattress, mind you), but the remote and app incorrectly show that the bed is flat. I contacted support... wait, not really, because it's Sunday and they don't have 24/7 phone support. Their "chat agent" support - in its entirety - consists of "try turning it off and back on again". So we now have no bed to sleep on tonight. After paying $7,000 less than two years ago. I would never have bought a Sleep Number bed if I had known just how terrible their support is. If you're in the market for a new bed, skip Sleep Number. You can find something for half the price with... Read More
Two years after purchasing a $4000 Sleep Number i8 King plus a $4000 base, I realize I have paid a fortune for a glorified air mattress that no longer holds air. Sleep Number calls the problem, "NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR". What??!! To fix the problem, (1) I go to store to pick up caps (2) I call 800 number for instructions (3) I lift up mattress and awkwardly install cap on air chamber tube. (4) The mattress still loses its air overnight. (5) I call Customer Service again and they inform me that I have to purchase the Chamber parts and pay for a service call. This is not covered under the 25 year warranty and shame on me for not reading the warranty to understand it prior to purchasing the... Read More
I just purchased a replacement topper foam and was charged $283.13 for a piece of egg-crate king size foam that Walmart sells the exact same thing for $33.00 with FREE shipping.
THEY DONT BOTHER TO TELL YOU THAT THEY WILL RUN AND REVIEW YOUR CREDIT WHENEVER THEY FEEL LIKE IT. EVEN IF YOU PAY MORE THAN DUE EVERY MONTH. CALLED CORPORATE AFTER GETTING NO HELP-I WAS TOLD THAT I NEED TO CALL THE VENDOR THAT SLEEP NUMBER PAYS TO RUN CREDIT TO FIND OUT WHY!!! WHO RUNS YOUR CREDIT AND NOT TELL YOU IN 2021?!
I AM TELLING EVERYONE NOT TO BOTHER BECAUSE ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY SLEEP NUMBER DOES NOT CARE!
I was to have my P5 360 bed with remote and with adjustable frame delivered on 7/28. I got a call on 7/26 from Sleep Number telling me there is a defect in my adjustable frame so my order can not be delivered until 8/4. On 8/4 the delivery men only had the adjustable base and no mattress or remote. The delivery men stated my delivery was a warranty for the base. After a frustrating call that had me on wait for a half hour the rep said that I won't get my mattress and remote until 8/13. sleep Number might have a comfortable bed but I sure as hell am not finding out anytime soon. Terrible communication and delivery time for this company.
SLEEP NUMBER SERVICE SUCKS.... I bought the CAL. King, dual controls and paid in full. Now for the second time the air pump or something doesn't keep the air in the mattress. It deflates as I sleep in it--I'm 119 lbs. Duh? Sleep Number wants to pre-charge me $200 just for a tech to check it out. IF A TECH SHOWS UP, THIS IS NEW MEXICO. Then if there's parts, and again for the tech to come out and fix it. What kinda a stupidity is this. II would never recommend Sleep Number to anyone. $500 just to get your bed fixed...Think again folks..Its a scam on repairs. I am a hairdresser and have a following nation wide. Im now going to sleep on a deflated mattress cause I... Read More
My first Sleep Number bed was great and considering I bought it in 1999 and had no trouble with it at all. Now I have purchased my second Sleep Number bed with all the bells and whistles just a month ago and it is exactly what I need and require at my age and I was born in 1935, love it!
as you maybe dont know all foam mattresses are not very good after 4 years but if you sleep on air how can you complain about special if you can adjust your own comfort.
