Nectar describes the firmness level of their mattress as medium firm since it offers the support of a firm mattress with the comfort of a pillow top. Nectar's mattresses are made from four different, special grade performance layers and a cover made from Tencel (which is bedbug-resistant) and long-staple cotton, as well as an aloe-based cooling layer that assists in wicking away heat. The foam layers include Lush, a semi-open, fast-recovery memory foam; a 3" memory foam with medical-grade cooling and recovery levels; and lastly, a high-density base foam. Unlike some spring mattresses which can sag at the edges, Nectar designed their mattress with consistent support and firmness throughout.

In addition to the Nectar mattress, Nectar also has begun offering the Nectar Premier and the Nectar Premier Copper. The Nectar Premier offers 13 inches of premium layers and dual action cooling. The mattress consists of a cooling cover; 3" of gel-coated memory foam with surface infused phase change materials; 3" of soft transitional foam; and 7" of high density base foam. The memory foam is innovative because it is of a higher density than what is traditionally found in memory foam mattresses. The Nectar Premier Copper is a 14-inch mattress with premium layers and triple action cooling technology. The mattress has four layers consisting of a poly blend cooling cover with copper; 4" of high density, gel memory foam with surface infused phase change materials; 1" of soft transitional foam; and 9" of supportive high density base foam. The Nectar Premier and the Nectar Premier Copper are both available in all the same sizes as Nectar's primary mattress.

Nectar sells some of the most affordable mattresses we have reviewed thus far. Their Medium Firm mattress can cost as little as $499 for a Twin and go up to $1,099 for a King or California King. This is an exceptional value for a product that comes with a lifetime warranty. The data points shown below reflect the prices of Nectar's Queen-sized products. The Nectar Premier mattress costs $1,299 and the Nectar Premier Copper costs $1,699. Nectar aims to deliver their product as quickly as possible, which is why they ship via FedEx. Delivery typically takes between 3–7 days depending on the country of destination. They also provide an easy financing plan that requires no credit check. As long as the consumer has a credit or debit card and a source of income, he or she can purchase a Nectar mattress with six months of interest-free payments.

Nectar offers a 365-night sleep trial, after which, if a customer wishes to return the mattress, the company will remove the mattress and process a full refund, at no cost to the consumer. According to the company, less than 3% of their customers return their mattresses. However, it's important to note that some exclusions do apply. Nectar also provides a generous lifetime warranty for their mattresses. Essentially, this means that their mattresses will be covered for as long as their customers choose to keep them.

This time period, however, is divided into two periods. During the first ten years of ownership, Nectar commits to completely replacing their mattress at zero cost to the consumer. Subsequently, the company will repair and re-cover the mattress or replace it, at their discretion. If manufacturing defects are determined to exist, the company will waive all transportation charges. They also offer the Choice option, in which customers keep their original Nectar mattress in the years 10+, opting for a brand-new Nectar mattress at 50% cost, instead of repairing their previous one.

Nectar Sleep is not rated by the Better Business Bureau. Nectar Sleep UK has an excellent rating on Trustpilot, where consumers award it 4.4 out of 5 stars based on over 10,000 reviews. Nectar Sleep US is not separately rated. Other consumer rating sites publish mixed reviews of Nectar Sleep from real-life customers. Complaints typically criticize the company's customer service and lengthy delivery times.
