I just canceled my service for this year. Last years service was bordering on terrible. Totally missed areas of service and getting fertilizer on all paved areas. When I called them about it, I was told I would receive a call from Scott, which I never received. This happened numerous times.
weed man is a scam. We have used them for more than a year and our lawn has never looked worse. Except for the weeds. The weeds are thriving. We have weeds growing that I've never seen before in our yard... Last application the technician asked if I had any concerns. I pointed at the lawn and said 'why is my lawn dead.' . He told me to water it... WATER IT! I've been a home owner for 30+ years now. I know how to water. My lawn was a good lawn before Weed Man. I was hoping to make it better. Now, it's barely a lawn. Do not trust this service. I would have bought a bag of Dylox and spread it myself if I hadn't had recent shoulder surgery and I repeatedly told that to the salesperson, Melinda, when I called. My yard was being dug up by an animal because of grubs and I needed an immediate solution. She told me the technician would check for grubs and sure enough he found one to show me. I asked both of them if there was anything I needed to do after the chemical was applied and the answer was no. My arm is in a sling so I prepaid for the service to get a 7% discount. This year my wife and I decided to switch from TruGreen (where we were long standing customers - in multiple houses) to Weedman Lawn Care based on a referral that saved us over $100 for the year. This would turn out to be one of the worst decisions we have made! Weedman only was able to come 2 times before my lawn died out due to over fertilizing. The test results came back and nitrogen levels were more than 3 times too high, and keep in mind that these samples were taken more than 6 weeks later so most of the nitrogen would have leeched out - and it’s still that high! Weedman serviced my lawn for approximately a year and never were able to control the weeds. Their service was poor and I had to change lawn service to get the problem fixed.
I recieved my first treatmeant about 2 weeks ago , I was pleased with the service, some of my weeds were gone and grass thicker. I did request a retreat due to still having weeds. They were to come out on 08/01/23, no one ever came. I noticed the next morning there was a "you were serviced" flag on my lawn. I checked my cameras and 5:50pm the flag was placed and the man left. I called the company and said I was supposed to be serviced and wasnt. She said it looks like they were out there yesterday morning (im assuming her thinking no one was home). I had to recently stop my . contract with Weedman because I became Unemployed . When I asked them if they would come out and do respray because I am still Having problems with weeds. They told me if I would renew my contract they would be happy to do a respray. Caution not a very good way of doing business with your customers. I will never use them again and I surely wont recommend them to anyone.
When beginning Weed Man Yard Service my experience began bad and ended bad. Although, I wanted to give them a chance they failed miserably. So here is the story. I began weed man with a scheduled date that was not done but I was charged for. Luckily, I was home. Called in yo report my findings that I was billed although no did the lawn. They asked me was I sure. Lol 😆 Well, my camera's say the service never happened. Thank God for camera's. That was strike one. 😳 So, I asked them to call ahead and I needed to be home. Don't use weed Man. We have been using them for the past 2 years and my lawn looks terrible. Unfortunately I can't post pictures here but trust me when I say, use someone else. My husband and I enjoy gardening and taking care of our yard and have been very patient with this company but in the end they were awful. Would not refund our last 2 treatments that didn't help the lawn whatsoever. I have been calling them for the past 3 months with weed issues and they kept telling me it would be ok but it wasn't. Danielle (unsure of what role) has been ignoring my calls and I'm told she has no direct email or phone number. What a farse. Do your business somewhere else.
The Weed Man DFW has killed our lawn that had been thriving since the 1980’s. I’ve tried to speak with the local manager, Troy, and was treated rudely. They take no accountability for the damage.
I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND AS A MILITARY RETIREE RECEIVED A 10% DISCOUNT. HOWEVER, I RECEIVED AN INCREAS FOR SERVICES AS ALL OTHER CUSTOMERS, MILITARY & NONMILITARY DID WHICH IS UNDERSTANDABLE WITH COST INCREASE. THIS YEAR I ONLY GET A 5% DISCOUNT WHICH COST WISE INCREASES MY COST BY 5%. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY WEEDMAN CHOSE TO INCREASE MILITARY RETIREES MORE THAN OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE ANNUAL COST OF SERVICES PRICE. DISSATISFIED AND FIND THIS VERY DISTURBING AS A MILITARY RETIREE. I had Weedman in Winchester, VA and they did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, they are unreliable here in Severna Park, MD. 😒They never show up when they schedule an appointment. 😒I spent $500 this year and my yard is still covered in crab grass. 😒They killed 5 rose bushes they claimed they'd replace, but after months, they've never even showed up to look at them. At first they tried to say it was a disease until I brought out a horticulturist and he said only weed spray would kill half of every rose bush overnight. Deanna Freeman is so down to earth and friendly. You can tell that she loves what she does. This strengthens my belief that I'm working with a good company because no one else has ever convinced me they like to work.
Company will bill you for services that are not requested and agreed upon. Will not make it right. Watch your bill closey or go with a more reputable business.
My lawn was looking ok but I thought Weedman could improve it. Huge mistake! I called them out after the first application because parts of my lawn seemed to be dying. Always had different excuses. The heat, not enough water (we have a sprinkler system that ran four days a week) so I hand watered. Then it was a disease, maybe ants were causing problems, my landscaper was bringing in a fungus, he wasn’t changing the direction of his mowing , he changed the direction every week. My husband always took care of our lawns with nominal success. We decided to let the “professionals” handle it for the 2022 season. BIG mistake! We prepaid for the year. Another BIG mistake. Weedman showed up once, ignored future fertilizing deadlines, and was unresponsive to our complaints. We will see them in court in 6 weeks!
Our Service Man Ron from Valparaiso IN. came and rang the doorbell first. He was very polite and professional. He told me what to expect, and patient the whole time he was here. He didn't race through the treatment and explained every detail. He even called me sir.
I'm so happy to sign up with WeedMan. It is a breath of fresh air. The customer service agents in the Valparaiso office need to be commended as well. They pick up the phone fast, listen well for what I need and polite.

I spoke with Deana Freeman last week about services with Weedman. She was caring and understanding. She worked hard to find a solution that would work best for my budget. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a company that cares and gets the job done, talk with her.
I called The Weedman to provide a quote for service and spoke with Ashley and Stacy... they both were great, not only provided wonderful customer service but also quite knowledge and informative.

Weedman, Denver Metro. The first time I reached out was via email. No response. The second time I called and left a message. A nice lady called me back but I couldn't stay on the phone because I had a meeting. She said she would call back...she didn't. I called a third time. The gentleman that I spoke to said someone would be by Wednesday or Thursday to give me a quote, in the gentleman said it would be the owner since he did the at home estimates (usually they try to give you an estimate using Google Earth which is difficult at my house since I live in a forested area on 10 acres). Weed Man Lawn Care of Roswell is horrible. #1 There technicians sprayed our hedges and killed them. They informed me other customers had the same issue. #2 They consistently lie and state they will correct the problem. Months later, no resolution. #3 They also give you the run around to cancel your account. I called, emailed and texted them to cancel the account in Jan ‘2021 because the weeds were worse. They ignored the request and sprayed in April and killed the hedges. More than a little ticked off with weed man service. Had multiple problems with them last year but decided to give them one more chance. When I came home today, my next-door neighbor's weed man lawn sign was up and nothing left in my yard. I thought it was odd that they did my next-door neighbor's yard and not mine. Nobody rang my doorbell or left any paperwork at my home. I looked online and saw that I got a notice that my lawn was done at 9:27 am by Curtis Caldwell. When I originally hired them 5 years ago, they were very reliable and responsive. My lawn looked great after 1 year of service. Eventually, the service started to suffer. After not meeting the application deadlines a technician he mentioned to me on how the business has grown and how inundated they were with service orders. The eventual lack of detail and horrible service cost me my good looking lawn and faith in this company. I'd rather do it myself!!
