U.S. Legal Wills uses their trademarked MyWill™ service to guide consumers through an online wizard that collects information on themselves, their family, and their assets to create a personalized last will and testament that meets the requirements of the consumer's state. Once the document is created, the testator should print and sign the will in front of witnesses according to their state laws in order to turn it into a legal document. Otherwise, the document isn't binding.

Unlike other companies, U.S. Legal Wills does not include with every purchase a review service that makes sure the document is complete and consistent. Having the will reviewed by one of the company's attorneys will incur an additional charge of $69. Otherwise, consumers can read their own wills carefully or have their own attorney review it.

With the purchase of a will, the company includes an online vault to upload digital files, such as photos and videos, a document that specifies the testator's funeral wishes, and the ability to write messages that will only be delivered after death. The will also includes free revisions for a year as well as the ability to upload it to secure online storage. This membership can be extended for 2, 5, 10, or 20 years or for the user's lifetime for a relatively low cost and would allow the consumer to make revisions to their will at any time during the membership period.
