TL:DR: Not worth it. Sure, its cheaper than traditional options, but in the long run you might find yourself having to get traditional braces because Byte cannot fix your smile. It takes forever to hear back from customer service, and when you do, it still takes weeks to receive any new aligners needed. I would absolutely NOT recommend Byte. I had initially reviewed Byte, giving them 5 stars. However, they ask for reviews from people very early on. I think this is how they maintain very good ratings, and most people probably do not bother updating their review if things go wrong somewhere down the line. I have repeatedly asked for a refund for an impression kit that was held by USPS due to the wrong return address being used on the package that I received. When I notified the consultant of this he basically ignored my emails, texts and calls for 2 weeks before emailing me with a treatment plan? When I got over the delay and entire debacle he says I cannot be refunded for my kit. I sent multiple requests for support and nothing was done. Don't waste your time and money with a service that disregards your experiences and does not address your grievances. There are many other businesses that offer aligners.

I am very unhappy with my experience. My bottom teeth are crowded, I paid in FULL at the beginning, I was told I can wear them only at night, but instead of switching aligners once a week, it will be once every two weeks. Well, that did not really work. I went through all the pain but saw very very minimal results after almost a year. I think byte might be mostly suitable for people who need very minimal adjustments, and mostly gaps in teeth, not overcrowdings. They also give you a 3D model of what to expect your teeth to look like AFTER you are done with your aligners which is not true. Pros: The system eventually works and it's the only aligner I could find that you wear at night. Wearing at night versus the day is amazing. Cons: 1. I'm almost 9 months in and my teeth are finally able to fit in my retainers. Maybe it's my teeth, but the plan is made to switch out aligners once a week. It took me an average of 4-6 weeks per aligner before my teeth could fit in the next one. 2. The sales process could have been better. Their phone number on their website was out of service, so email was the only option. My sales rep kept forgetting who I was and I got sent someone else's alignment plan. 3. I am exactly half way through my treatment plan, and I am very pleased with the entire Byte experience so far. I started noticing my teeth straightening fairly early on which is amazing to me. I am super excited to see the final results in the coming months! I highly recommend Byte!!
I'm now on Week 12, and I can feel a difference on my teeth. I can tell they really care about their patients/customers as they check in on you when they think it's almost time for your next batch of aligners. They also make sure that you're on top of your treatment and ready for your next batch before sending them to you. Customer service is excellent. The aligners themselves fit great. I didn't experience any pain, only pressure on my teeth as they pushed them in place. Honestly, my treatment took longer than what was planned, but it was because there were days when I wasn't wearing the aligners for the recommended hours. Consistency is key to being on top of your treatment plan.
I'm on week 11 and I'm impressed with my progress so far! The process has actually been easier than I expected. I've had no pain from the aligners or the shifting of my teeth, and the foaming cleaner seems to be helping whiten them a bit. I've been overly cautious about shifting my teeth too quickly, therefore I've been keeping each set of aligners in for closer to two weeks instead of the recommended 1 week time frame...I can't wait to see the end results 😁
I have been loving Byte!! I am a little halfway through the night aligner treatment and am always so surprised at how seamlessly the process is going and how helpful their staff has been. My favorite part of the experience is the packaging and instruction materials. It made going into the treatment really fun and I’m always excited to open my next pack of aligners! The only thing that was a little tricky was understanding my insurance and FSA information, but it is really great that they offer insurance and FSA payment and their insurance team was really helpful in understanding the process. This is the easiest process for aligners! Someone is always there if you need assistance or have questions. I've already noticed a difference in my smile and cannot wait until j see the final results!
The beginning process was really easy, the molding and pictures, all simple and I was helped really well through it all. Once I got the aligners they were really nice and everything received was good quality and comfortable. Customer service is well, always do checkups which is really helpful. I did tend to get lazy and sometimes miss some weeks but I was able to back track and walk through it with whomever I emailed about it. I don’t go through the payment process, my mom does, so I don’t have anything to really say about that but overall it’s been a good experience, I just wish I hadn’t gotten lazy. I can’t wait to get back on track and see what Byte can really do for me :)

Best thing about them is their entire process is quite clear and easy to follow. It's great that you can just upload photos of your progress and someone will check it. I am 10 weeks into my plan, and so far haven't had any issues with the retainers or teeth pain, however have noticed my teeth have not moved as much as teeth simulation predicted. Probably the only negative would be that once you purchase the plan, the communication from their team seems to drop off. It seems the company has a strong sales focus, but I can't say whether their ongoing customer support and care process is any good. I was nervous at first never having any braces or aligners before, but the Byte team answered all my questions and I have been super happy with my results so far and I am only halfway through my treatment! Super easy steps to follow and if you need the support team they are very responsive. Would recommend!
It's only been 2 1/2 months since I started using byte and I'm amazed at how quickly my teeth are aligning. The first week was rough, adjusting to wearing the aligners, but after that it's been pretty smooth going. The customer service at byte had been great. They respond within 24-48 hours when I've emailed or sent a text. I highly recommend Byte!
I tried three companies and Byte was the clear winner. They walk you through everything and provide constant support. The personal touch really went a long way in my making a decision. I'm in the process now, but have only positive things to say so far.

Byte represents itself as a company that will take care of its customers throughout the teeth-straightening process. This is totally untrue. Once I got my first set of aligners I was completely on my own. The fine print of their customer service Contact Page said it "could" take "up to" 6 days to hear back from a representative...and that's exactly how long it took every single time I sent a message to them. I would send an email, 6 days later I would get a clearly generic response from someone who didn't even read my message fully. Want to try calling?
