Have been a Trusted ID member since 2012. Received typical status email on the first of September 2017. On September 15, I received a cancellation email without explanation. I believe that my service was paid until February 2018. I called the phone number listed on the September 15 email. Always busy. Called another number found on their website. I've had Trusted ID since 2012. Recently they sent a notice that they cancelled my account. I have never made a claim and was not aware of any changes in their business practices. I received the standard monthly update via email and then last month the email was a cancellation. I called the Customer Service number and was told they aren't taking new customers.....I said, "what about old customers?". The rep didn't know what to tell me. She verified that they were still an active company and if I wanted to open a new account I should join the AARP and work through them (?!?!?!). Hello****They are no longer taking new customers 3/1/2017****and they are not telling you that if you want to get protection you will be redirect to Equifax website. Trusted Id was bought by Equifax. I am happy with their services for the last 3 years, their monitoring is very efficient, however I wanted to add my wife to my plan and they refused due to not accepting new customers. This is very disappointed and it makes me think that soon they will tell me that I do not have more coverage due to Equifax acquisition or because they are going out of business. This is the reason, I will move to Id Shield and also for the 5 mm coverage and access to private investigators. Adios Amigos! Armando

I had this service for many years and was always satisfied with their service. I was signed up for their family plan and was billed annually. I had fraudulent charges on my card and was issued a new one, but the updated card info hadn't been updated in time for my annual charge and they cancelled my service. No notification that there was an issue with payment or anything, just botice my accounts we cancelled. This notice was sent aftet their service center closed for the day so I couldn't contact anyone until the following morning. I have had this company since 2012, recently had to update my credit card information and they took it out of my checking account 10 times, instead of one time? I tried to call to talk to their billing department, but went through three agents that only offered me their apology, they said there was no one in the billing department I could talk to, they would send a report to the billing department and I will hear back in 7 to 10 days.
