Please check their website before biting their promotion. It might be already canceled "due to overwhelming demand", especially if they partner with somebody else. I had this situation with VISA Checkout. They bombard my email box with the same proposal every other day yet when something is canceled you need to dig their website in order to get the information. You wait 6-8 weeks for your points to discover "they cannot honor the promotion "

I am absolutely furious with Wyndham at this point. I've been in a 4 day long email battle with them and can't get a single answer. All I get are prewritten responses in promos or my status. I have been a member for a little over 5yrs now and they off nothing for that loyalty. I travel for work with a group of 6 other guys and I have all of them using the wyndham app now. But after the headache I've had trying to get answers I'm switching my company to choice hotels. Maybe they'll actually appreciate their customers.

Customer service was horrible and the points couldn't be used immediately. This is what we got from a CS rep when trying to make a reservation. When I signed up for the program, I was told that I would receive 15,000 points for doing so, then after I stayed two nights I was to also receive 15,000 points for another promotion. Each night I stayed I was told I would receive 1,000 points (minimum). Adding this all up, my expectation was that I had a total of 32,000 points in my account. I tried to get a room at a Super 8 on the third night and was told, by the 5th person we were passed to on the phone, that we would have to wait 2 to 4 weeks for those points to become effective. If this is... Read More

When trying to actually use my Wyndham rewards, which advertises themselves as "no blackout dates" I have had a horrible experience. I have been trying to book rooms for my family for Spring Break since before Christmas. I have been given conflicting information by every person with whom I have spoken. I have spoken with at least three agents and 4 supervisors, three different customer care division lines. I was told to put in a complaint against the hotel in order to get resolution and then to wait a week for the hotel to respond. I was given an account number. When I called back , they said their area was not capable of handling these types of complaints(that I was told to wait a... Read More
