This company treats its customers like criminals trust me my home burnt down on Jan 11, 2-024, its been nearly 5 weeks since the fire. The claims Adjuster Edna Menard Fletcher has been the worst ever she has no compassion for anyone. Edna has a job that requires her to ride along with Satan and attack Gods People at every angle. Edna keeps sending me texts and emails telling me that there has been no decision on whether or not that Kin insurance will pay the claim { CLAIM ADJUSTER FROM HELL} even let me know that the demo of Dave Cohens Homosassa burnt down home may not be covered by Kin Insurance. I received an email that my valid American Airlines credit card was rejected. I spoke with customer service
representative who re-inputted Card Id's and card was rejected. This card has a credit limit of $20000 and out-
standing balance of $300. The Representative indicated problem was at my end. Very unhelpful. When I
indicated that I might choose another carrier there was silence on the line. Poor service.

Kin Insurance customer service is excellent when you're purchasing a policy, but that's where it ends. I have extensive damage from hurricane Ian, which made landfall on September 28, 2022 and I am still waiting on Kin to settle my claim. Every time the claim specialist on my claim begins talking settlement, Kin assigns me a new claim specialist. I am now on claim specialist #8 with no end in sight. I have missed work and so stressed about the condition of my home, but Kin does not care to do the 1 job they are paid to do, which is to insure my home.

Their initial home inspection for my home did not reveal I did not passed inspection on other parts of my house except a panel breaker.
Anyone can take your money insure you for one year and then decline your claim after a hurricane icurrence saying stains inside your living room were not caused by the hurricane but lack of maintenance house designs poor installation. Then you get stuck with them until again upon renewal, no one else wants to insure your house until you fix it. The worse company for you to believe that it gives you piece of mind! It quite the opposite in my experience!
We hag Kin for 1 year. Then next year they raised our rate 110% with no damages or losses. We will not be renewing with them .We would not recommend them a they are a bait the 1st year then sock it to them the second . Be careful

This company will charm you en everything will be 5 star but that’s until you submit a claim

Kin Cancelled my home insurance policy and sent one email. No phone call, no letter, and not even a second email or an official cancellation notification. I contacted a service manager and was told compliance stated only one email (that I missed ) and my policy can be cancelled. Also told a “technology company” so I guess one email and no communication is sufficient to cancel a policy . I found out when my mortgage company placed an expensive home insurance policy and then I got stuck with the much higher bill. Very disappointed in first mistake and then took multiple calls to get a manager to finally respond. Do not do business with Kin as you could be the next cancellation with one... Read More

So far so good. I left my previous homeowners insurance because they raised my rates by over $1000.00 in one year. Why? They wouldn't give me an answer so I went shopping and found KIN. Very helpful agent. The right blend of professional and friendly. I'll comment again in a year.
