Overall Rating: 4.1 / 5 (Excellent)

Rexton has over 50 years experience providing hearing aids and has consistently remained at the forefront of the industry. The company has an extremely wide range of products that feature cutting edge technology. As far as products go, you don't get a better reputation, or flexibility in choices than you do with Rexton. However, it is difficult to describe the company accurately beyond this as their policy is to not disclose prices, after-sale support, or additional features such as trial periods and shipping costs. Rexton takes the traditional approach of selling through licensed Audiologists and hearing health professionals. Should customers want to travel this more thorough route, Rexton is an ideal choice.

Rexton Product Offerings

Hearing Aid Style - 4 / 5

Rexton has been around for over 50 years, and consequently has one of the widest range of hearing aids out of all the companies we evaluate. The company's product line is split into two divisions, TruCore and Essential E1. Both lines have most every type of hearing aid style you could want. Behind the ear, receiver in canal, and completely in canal models are all available. Rexton also offers the Stellar-Li device which has a rechargeable lithium ion battery for users who don't want to deal with the hassle of replacing batteries.

Rexton hearing aids also feature some technological innovations you aren't going to get with comparable brands. The company's TruCore devices feature real time audio transmission between left and right ears, reverb cancellation, and three dedicated music enhancers. What's more, many Rexton hearing aids have a tinnitus function, bluetooth comparability, and the ability to program your device with your smartphone or mobile device. All in all a most impressive list of products and features.

Rexton Reputation

Reputation - 4 / 5

Rexton has an A+ with the BBB, but more importantly has been manufacturing hearing aids for over half a century. The company has consistently been on the forefront of technological changes in the industry. These days, there are plenty of relatively new online businesses that will sell you a hearing aid directly, eliminating the testing and fitting. Rexton stands by the established way of doing things. According to the company, a hearing aid is a sophisticated medical device. Getting fitted should not be taken lightly and needs to be done by a licensed Audiologist or hearing health professional. This approach has worked well for Rexton as they are the oldest established of all the companies we evaluate.

Bought first set from Tulsa Costco ($1800,00) July 27/23, quit working (totally) 2 months later. Got replacement set Sept, 20/23. here we are 1/22/24, replacement set going bad, apparently a crappy product, Work great while they work. Really disappointed, bad enough need hearing aids without the hassle or expense......all reviews i read prior to purchasing were good....... some ones lying, or fake reviews.... cant believe i'm the only one ! Had my first set of aids 6 years, but cost $6000,00 (not rexton) Perry T.

We would avoid these if searching for hearing aids. They are very dependent on your iPhone for setup and adjustments which they need all too frequently. They constantly keep losing connections with the 'tv box'. They don't remember last volume at turn off and don't have "automatic volume control" which would keep everything at the same level to your ears. As a result you must keep manipulating the tiny volume buttons when changing environments, such as from a quiet restaurant to a crowded room, or turning on a vacuum. Being almost totally dependent on your phone means a dead or other room phone requires you to get up and get it for simple repairing as they unpair frequently. Too much... Read More

My Rextons seemed like they would be great at first, but then they stopped working. One at a time. Months apart. They just stop working. It surprises my audiologist. I have to send them back to Rexton before they will replace them (I guess they don't believe us) and that's a two week turnaround minimum without ears every time. Unreliable. Worst experience so far. My Avada and Kirkland aids never gave me any problem at all. Ruined my trip to Las Vegas. I need my ears as a musician. Right now I don't have them again. Waiting for my appointment...

Very happy with my Rexton BiCore aids from Costco. I had 4.5 year old Kirkland aids prior to this (made by Rexton) that were great but getting to the end their expected life. I "upgraded" to Phillips aids but was disappointed. The bluetooth connectivity was poor and sound quality was not as good as I expected. After 4 months I traded them for the Rextons and am very happy. Costco service was great. The aids work well. And I love the price. 3 year repair/2 year loss warranty. Cleaning whenever I am in a Costco. T regular and a battery powered travel charger included. All for $1599. Hard to beat

Rexton hearing aids do not contain the simplest, earliest technical advance ever made on audio, automatic gain control! When you go into a noisy area, instead of reducing gain they scream into your ears. The iphone app is constantly failing and you have to turn off Bluetooth, delete the app, reinstall, forget the devices and repair them. Daily. They give no service on the phone and Costco is worthless in providing any assistance. These are not what you want to spend your money on. These are the simplest and cheapest electronic devices to make. You shouldn’t be required to have a phone with you to use them. The government just approved low cost manufacturers so get a pair for about $300,... Read More

after reading the other comments how did they come up with 4 out of 5?? After 5 months I am returning mine to Costco. Always falling out of ears and sound increase is minimal and no blocking of background noise. The directional app is meaningless. I an still asking people to repeat. Maybe a lesser quality for Costco.

The product works well. The problem is with the app. Is there no way to lock the setting? Constantly finding that I have to reset within a short time. Most inconvenient.

I finally gave into a hearing aid exa, 3 1/2 years ago. I bought them from Costco in Toronto as there was not a Costco hearing aid centre in Barrie, ON where I now live. Orillia ON a 20 min ride north of Barrie, ON Canada has a new Costco with a hearing aid centre. They gladly transferred my records to Orillia from Toronto and the service has been amazing a s well as the Rexton Hearing Aids. I have rechargeable batteries that last from 12 to 15 hours sometimes 16 hours daily. I have only purchased one additional set of batteries in almost 4our years as I was told on purchase that they might only last 2 years, well I still have the original batteries that came with the aids and only... TRxton hearing aids. Are very painful to heavy do not stay correctly in the ears and stop working several times until they frustrate me so much I just gave up on those horrible hearing aids. A complete expensive mistake

I have the Rexton C0123 BTE hearing aid with RIC. I lost one, and there is no replacement available. The constant problem I had was the receiver plugging with ear moisture and wax. Both ceased to transmit sound to my ears after 3 weeks of use. My best efforts at cleaning the receivers failed. The lesson learned is that you must purchase several receivers along with an RIC hearing aid and know how to replace the receiver. Expensive RIC hearing aids fail just as quickly as cheap ones. Unfortunately, no one makes Behind the Ear hearing aids with just tubes to the ear with those hearing aids having bluetooth phone capability and T-coil function. We are stuck with RIC hearing aids that... Read More
