Like so many others, my experience with Avas Flower Delivery was not a good one. I’ll give ½ star for prompt delivery, but everything else involved was not star worthy. The surprise service fee of $24.95 was only the beginning. Their website gives scammer vibes and I should have gone with my gut. I ordered a large bouquet for my friend whose mother had died. I blame myself for this scam. Generally, I look at reviews before using a company of which I’m not familiar. I did this order online for a bouquet to be delivered following day. A mid price. bouquet and Mylar balloon ultimately can to $101.00 with hidden “service” fees. A couple of weeks later, I asked my friend if she liked the flowers. She never received them though I had received notice they had been delivered. AFTER checking the reviews here and on Facebook, I saw that most people said this was a scam, that either the flowers were inferior or never received. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from Avas since my experience was like so many others. The order delivered looked nothing like the flower arrangement online, there were very few flowers in in it. I spent 30 min talking to a woman in customer service who apologized about the order and promised a new and improved order would be delivered the next day, it never happened. I will never order from this company again.
BUYER BEWARE, there's a 50/50 chance you will be dissapointed. I placed an online order for a medium sized spath/peace lily (live plant) for my uncle's funeral service and requested that it be delivered the day before the service as the service was the next morning. I also was surprised by the 24.95 service fee that doesn't show up until the very last minute when you check out, but proceeded anyway. I am happy some customers were satisifed. I am not a satisfied customer however, as my delivery was never received by the person I had the flowers sent to. The company webisite continues to insist it had the flowers delivered (it contracts with local florists to actually create and deliver orders). There is no accountability and I also incurred a surprise $24.95 "handling fee" in spite of the advertised "free delivery". There is nothing free about this and I am out $70 and my friend who was recovering from surgery never got her floral arrangement. I would not recommend Ava's Flowers based on my experience.
I ordered flowers for a graveside service. It appears they were never delivered. I have requested a refund and am waiting. Will never use this company again.
We ordered "same day" delivery on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 and after delay after delay the family member we sent the flowers to finally received the flowers late Tuesday March, 12th (they were discovered on the 13th left in the snow. Apparently UPS, dropped them off outside per Avas's request. We order two (2) different beautiful bouquets (Totaling $115.00+ (according to the photo's) but what arrived looked worse than what I would see discounted at the grocery store for $5.00. Awful delivery I didn’t get what I paid for. I ordered a luxury bouquet and they sent 5 flowers and it looked nothing like the photo. The customer service reps were awful and didn’t even fix the order or follow up as guaranteed. I would never order from them again.
Our sympathy flower arrangement arrived without the required stand and 4 hours late. Humiliating and embarassing to say the least. Will never do business again with this company
I called and placed an order for a funeral arrangement . It couldn’t be a same day delivery but I was promised an 8am delivery the next morning. I’m in Ca and funeral in Pa. Found out when I called that they just put the order into some computer program they use. There is never a verification some shop picked up the order. So my order never got placed. I wasn’t notified! I found out when I called . They called it a failed delivery. It’s a failed order placement by Ava’s. I feel they accepted and I paid for an order they never fully processed! For a funeral! This is totally unacceptable! No conscious. Never use Ava’s on line florest. Especially for anything you care about.

Shame on me for not reading the reviews first. I ordered flowers to celebrate a new baby. Flowers were delivered promptly, however they looked like they were dug out the garbage and didn’t resemble the photo. They were actually thrown out the same day. I spoke with a representative who assured me a satisfactory replacement would be sent the next day. 4 days later and no replacement. I am contacting my bank for a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Your floral service, arrangement, delivery and dependability SUCKS. Flowers look nothing like the luxury arrangement I paid for. False delivery confirmation. I ordered 2 days prior to delivery date and the flowers were out of stock. Weren’t even started until 5 pm on delivery date and obviously throw together. Never Again!!!

I have no clue why they have a 5 star rating. Someone sent me flowers to be delivered Feb 13-14th. I never received them nor did I receive a phone call. I called them directly on Feb 15 and they told me that the flowers were out for delivery and would be at my home before the end of the day. It’s 11:30 PM eastern time in my flowers haven’t arrived.. the guard gate is aware and this company has been called in. I just don’t get it. No words.

A few hours later, they text me to say there is a problem with my order. I wish I had read these reviews. I would give zero starts if it were an option. Sent balloons and a medium teddy to my niece in the hospital. She didn’t get them. Called the hospital. Small one and they took it seriously and said it was never delivered. Ava’s sent me a photo as “proof” of delivery. One balloon and one balloon in a bag. No teddy bear. And hospital says it’s not any place they recognize. Ava’s refuses to answer me now and says they will not refund me. Contesting the charge with my credit card company.

The banner that sometimes appears for free delivery or a percentage off never ever really happens. They got some tiny little disclaimer at the bottom that says depending on where the person lives and the time of checkout, which I guess covers them. I ordered for Valentines day. Did not get receipt. Requested receipt and on receipt they said deliver 21 Feb. I was livid. 29.00 Service fee to be late on Valentines Day. Again, no receipt date changed from what I requested. Submitted my disgusted to their web site, they said Customer Service would call me. Been 2 hours.... NOTHING. High priced for NO SERVICE.
Read these reviews before buying from Avas. I placed an order for my daughter on 2/5/24, to be delivered on Saturday, 2/10/24. I knew she would be home on Saturday, so wanted them delivered then, instead of Valentime's day. This was going to be her first Valentine's as a new mom. I order flowers with a box of chocolate. The note was not delivered so customer did not know from whom is the gift. Vase and colors were different. Chocolate was absend. Customer phone connection was not working on Saturday. Chat promised to return money but it is unclear if it will happened.
