Smart Asset is a complete scam for both advisors and the investing public. As a financial advisor with a spotless 25 year record for two major international brokerage firms, I paid Smart Asset thousands of dollars each month for supposedly pre-qualified prospective clients who were seeking advice. Exactly zero prospects answered the phone, returned messages or emails, or participated in any way - a complete waste of time and money for financial professionals. Also, Smart Asset did not screen me as an advisor in any way - they simply sold worthless leads. Do no trust this company.
