Beyond its advertising exposure, it is the largest provider of voluntary supplemental insurance policies, offering group and individual insurance plans. It claims to provide financial protection to more than 50 million people worldwide and has been in operation for more than 60 years. It advertises a "One Day Pay" program and "guaranteed-issue" of insurance without medical underwriting (both available on some products). I am disputing the denial of my long term disability claim. Aflac denied my claim due to pre-existing medical condition. I have not received any payment for months. I am waiting for pre-authorization and then an appointment for back surgery. I never had back surgery so how can this be pre-existing? I have had my primary doctor's office send in all office visits notes but my customer rep always state that the paperwork wasn't received. So I pick up the paperwork from my medical doctors, while in server back and hip pain, then copy the files and upload to their website portal. I had upload doctor's information serval contact numbers and my rep called me and ask for the info again... Read More

The last time I called, the rep now said that their "research department" is researching my case, that they need 14 days (even though my first call was already more than 14 days before) but when I asked if I could talk to a manager or someone in that "research department" the rep said there was no phone in that department (?) and that "they" were researching. Then he asked me for proofs of... Read More
