Progressive gets high marks from us mainly due to its huge amount of coverage options for commercial vehicles, vast list of discounts, and superior financial strength. For a business that employs a fleet of any size, it is crucial to have the flexibility and solid financial backing Progressive offers. Business owners need to be sure their carrier will be able to pay out in the case of any incident, and also have a quick and painless claims-filing experience. Progressive commercial vehicle coverage excels in these areas.

There is also comprehensive truck-specific coverage for cargo, general liability, and rental reimbursement. Finally, Progressive can extend coverage to just about any kind of commercial vehicle. Hey I noticed %50 increase in my premium because of 3 violations that I received but did reconcile. Agent never had a god answer to give me for the %50 increase in premium for 2 straight trucks. She never actually tried to keep me with Progressive, she just explained everything. Also the communication sucks big time! If you want to write, you have to do it via their website but will receive an answer back in a month. If you want to call, prepare to wait longish time. Yeah. And I have both my cars and both my trucks with Progressive for YEARS now. They are pushing me away from them. Gotta migrate.

I work for a dealerhip. We can never get people on the phone. We also RARELY get a COI back correct the first time for our customers and lenders. I am AGAIN today on hold for over an hour with Progressive to correct another MISTAKE on a COI that they made. Its an everyday thing here with them. 1/10 do not recommend

You will never get someone on the phone and the option to make changes on line does not exist pretty much. I have been on hold for over 30 mins and now 45 mins. I do here the music on hold that keeps telling me that my call is "VERY important to us". I dont believe it. I am changing.

One of their clients wrecked my Bentley as they took it off the truck and Amber Hughes was the agent and all she did was try to get around paying the claim. She came back ONE MONTH LATER and told me he does not have a policy there so they cannot pay it. He has a policy there. Amber hung up on me as she said we are just going in circles. She is the rudest, laziest, most unreliable person to deal with over here. DO NOT USE THEM.

We thought and were told we had paid our policy for the year. Three months later, progressive over doubled our rate. Doesn’t sound like ethical practice to me. Sounds like price gouging at its finest. We aren’t the only small company that progressive has done this to. I would look long and hard before taking out a policy with progressive. They will sell a policy for a good rate and then double your premium a few months into it. Big corporations making it impossible for honest everyday Americans to make a descent living.

Your coverage is very misleading to ALL FLATBED DRIVERS. Having a wetness clause for flatbed drivers without selling it in this manner is borderline unethical. g. (ii) Wetness, humidity, dampness, dryness, or changes in or extremes of temperature unless it results from damage to a transporting vehicle caused by a covered cause of loss.
