How is Acorns rated?

Breakdown

Overall Rating: 0 / 5 (N/A)

The Acorns Spend checking account is worth considering if you are also interested in Acorns' investing tools. The accounts pair well together and you can get started investing painlessly just by swiping your Acorns Spend debit card. The account also offers some nice perks like few fees and ATM fee reimbursements. But it's missing some common features like mobile check deposit and mobile payment service integration, so if you use these features regularly, the Acorns Spend account may not be your best option.

Acorns Account Features

Account Features - 0 / 5

The Acorns Spend account is an online checking account that's in some ways more advanced than its competitors and in other ways, a little behind. It stands out because it integrates with Acorns Invest and Later accounts, which are designed for investing and retirement savings. When you swipe your Acorns Spend debit card at a store, Acorns automatically rounds up your purchase to the next dollar and invests the change so you can start investing easily and painlessly. And if you make a purchase at an Acorns partner business, that business will put 10% of your purchase price toward your Acorns Invest account as well. Acorns enables you to manage your money in all of your accounts in one place, but it's also missing a few common features, like mobile check deposit and integration with mobile payment services.
