Chase Bank is the largest bank in the United States. It's headquartered in New York, New York, and offers personal and business checking and savings accounts, as well as loans, credit cards, certificates of deposit (CDs), and more. It operates more than 4,700 branches and 16,000 ATMs nationwide.

Best for Brick and Mortar Fans

While modern banking is increasingly focused on internet and app experiences, there are some who prefer the ability to simply walk into a bank and speak with a live human being. This is not to suggest that Chase is running some kind of throwback Luddite operation lit by whale oil lanterns--the bank sports the same full range of recognizable, modern, online tools as its competitors. You can open an account quickly and easily online, too. But with more than 4,700 branches in 29 states and the District of Columbia, there’s a good chance that if you’re reading this, you’re one of the 80% of Americans with a Chase bank close by in your state. That's great for business owners who appreciate a more personal touch and customized advice from a banking professional.

Chase gets the highest marks for customer service on Consumer Reports of any of the megabanks--though it should be noted that smaller, local banks consistently score higher in terms of customer service than larger banks. The major trade off between big banks and local options is between the technological and security resources that come with a large institution and the personal touch that you get from your friendly neighborhood banker. If you prefer going local, by all means do so. Obviously we haven’t investigated every small bank in every municipality in the country, so make sure to educate yourself before shopping around.

Chase Business Complete Checking comes with a $15 monthly fee, which is on the lower end of the price spectrum, with various ways to waive. Plus, you’ll have access to over 16,000 Chase ATMs throughout the country. Bear in mind there is a $3 non-Chase ATM fee, and an insufficient funds fee of $34 (though there are several ways to waive the latter). The account stands out for an optional feature, called QuickAcceptSM, which allows customers to accept debit and credit card payments without a separate payment app. The feature is available for a one-time fee of $49.95. Per-transaction fees also apply and vary by type of payment.

This is the WORST bank for SMALL BUSINESS or any business!!!! They are now charging us to deposit cash yes cash--legal US currency..... as well as after 15 deposit to your saving you get a SERVICE FEE and then you get charged a service fee, and God forbid that you have a checking account and write more check that they think you should and you get dinged yet ANOTHER SERVICE FEE Not to mention the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE by the manager that you can imagine, but I do have to say the tellers have been great and have even defended us on some of the issuee we have with them adding service fee's to our account. Chase disabled one of my business accounts out of nowhere as well. I’ve banked with them for 10 years, and had this checking account for 2 years. They said they were missing some paperwork and prevented any transactions from happening on the account. No phone call. No email. No notification. Just disabled it. After a month of calling them, getting the runaround, submitting more documents, I decided to move on to a new bank.

Chase just shut down my Authorize Net card process out of the blue stating that I had missing paperwork even though I have had my business open with them for over 8 years now. They just closed me down. No warning or heads up. I am still not up and running because they are missing paperwork that they had to have when I first opened my business account with them. If you lost it, don't take it out on me. I have missed out on over 2K in sales so far.....Chase is too big of a company that they do not care about the little guys.

Terrible. This institution looks down upon its Black business owners. I had my account frozen after personally verifying a transaction. This cost me business and tied up thousands of dollars in funds with no explanation from Chase beyond an "internal policy". To add insult to injury, I was not able to go into the nearest branch and withdraw my funds. I was given the runaround by the employees in the branch, none of which were trained in handling business accounts. A cashier's check is rumored to be issued to me soon. Save yourself the trouble and use anyone else. Chase has headed the way of Wells Fargo with this behavior.

Worst experience ever. This company is perfect for someone who does not care about their own business. Customer service un - trained . CSM 2 HR wait times. Treated like cattle. Ridiculous check holds. If you don't want to lose your customers then lose this bank. Move on there are other's that will help your business grow.
